We are traveling out of state and came upon Brenda’s BBQ Smokehouse. We would give it 10 stars if we could. The food was amazing, very clean restaurant, and the staff/owners were very kind. We got the baby back ribs with various sides. The baked beans are a must have! We will definitely come back if we visit Kentucky again. If you’re around the area, it is totally worth the stop.

(Brenda?) was taking 3 phone orders while taking our order My Husband and I both got pulled pork sandwich - only $6/. I wish I had a scale, but would bet mine had 3x the amount of pork as my husband’s, so we traded. Good flavor. Onion rings weren’t homemade there but were really good! Side of broccoli was good too.

Be sure to ask about the specials as I didn’t see them posted (but might have been), but heard them talking on the phone about it - thinking the meatloaf special must be good since lady

on phone placing order was really bummed it wasn’t today.

Friendly service and took about 20+ min to get food.

We were driving through from Tennessee and spotted a BBQ restaurant and decided to stop in and try it. The staff were very nice and the food was great. I would definitely stop in again. There was also a gentleman playing guitar and singing that we enjoyed.

Food was kinda okay, I’ve had a McRib that was better than their pulled pork sandwich. It didn’t smell very good inside either. Paid WAY too much for a small sandwich and a side. Better off getting gas station food.

Just ate at Brenda's BBQ Smoke Shack in Beattyville, Kentucky. Great food, huge portions and friendly people. Would recommend if you are in the area

The wait was a little longer than anticipated, but I think Brenda is the only one that cooks and I believe everything is made to order. Food was phenomenal.

I was traveling through on my way back to Stanton after hiking all day. I'm so glad I stopped! I ordered the baby backs with beans and potate salad. So delicious! Best food I've had this whole trip. 10 out of 10 recommend

Very... low quality for the price. Everything tasted like it was pre-prepared and bought at the store. The baked beans and green beans looked and tasted dead up like something in a can. The sodas weren't chilled, sweet tea was awful and they had no ice. The ribs were 3 dollars more than listed on the menu but they dont tell you that unless you ask. All around just no.
