Best WLM Reviews

I finally made it out to Breaking Bread as I've been marked it on my "places to go" list. Glad I was able to! The Jerk/turkey lamb burger was very enjoyable. They also offer self proclaimed Famous Sticky Wings that I also tried. I was more impressed with the burger than the wings. Not saying they were bad, just average wings, nothing special. I'm willing to give them another shot at a later visit. I did take them to go as I finished my burger and didnt have room for the rest. The atmosphere is welcoming. Cool spot for a quick lunch. I will say, their Red Velvet cake looked wonderful. I was being the good husband and didnt partake, but WHEN you do please enjoy it for me.
It’s a beautiful spring Saturday, my girlfriend and I came to Baltimore for some furnishing shopping and found this place on google maps with a 4.7 star review. We got here before 12pm and there was one table only with a couple drinking tea. We ordered right away after asking for water and coffee. When the coffee arrived I knew I was in for a “great time”. Rancid, cold, thick dark and biter coffee. I asked for cream, as you can see in the picture, but couldn’t do it more than a couple of sips. The waitress brought only one water and no stirrer to mix the coffee with the cream. Now, it’s 12:50 and we haven’t seen our food yet. Actually just came and the oil coming out of it it’s just insane. Food missed on every point, service very poor. Really needs some cleaning and dusting, can only imagine the kitchen...
I ordered sticky wings with awesome fries. I picked the pulled chicken instead of pulled beef. The fries were soooooo good. Not what I need when I'm trying to lose weight. Lol The wings were cooked well. I loved the cilantro and green onions. They gave the food a different taste. I was expecting the sticky wings to have more flavor aside from the cilantro and green onions. It was still good. The apple bread pudding wasn't the best. It taste the best with apples, but the piece I had only seemed to have one apple. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they gave me a certain time frame to pick up my food. I got there a few minutes after that time and then had to wait another 15-20min because my food wasn't ready.
Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, incredibly kind and charming service. This place has so much character and is a gem. The service isn't always super fast but there's a lot of pride in their family-owned restaurant and in their food (did I mention the food is delicious?). If you don't drop by, you're missing out.
Fantastic experience today for lunch! Our friendly server brought homemade tortilla chips, and a sample of their award-winning sticky wings while we were waiting for our meal - so good! The Turkey Burger was amazing. The Roast Beef & Cheddar Panini and the Bacon Cheeseburger were delicious. The chipotle potato salad was superb. Oooooohhhhh, and the Chef’s homemade Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake ... divine! The best music videos were playing in the background - all-in-all this was a great choice for my husband and I to meet my son. Kudos to the Chef, Tyree and the fabulous service by Jabril!‬ (I ???? the playlist!) Baltimore- if you haven’t already - you need to check out this friendly, eclectic and very “chill” restaurant soon!
Perfect place in Pigtown! Young, black professional employees and chef! Garlic Parm fries, the famous sticky wings 14 count, and the soup of the day (Friday) was Turkey, kale, and potato soup. Perfect!
Great place! Our server Jabril was the best: he was very attentive, he helped us with the menu, and he suggested his amazing sweet tea. The Awesome fries will pulled BBQ beef were amazing!!! Also the bartender and chef personally came out the check on us too. The whole restaurant was a vibe, especially the art. Definitely will be back before we head home.
First of all, I was ready to rate this place 5 star and I haven't even gotten their food! The place is a local family owned restaurant, the bathroom is filled with amenities like free pads and tampons and lotion, hand sanitizer, air freshener. The staff were so friendly, the owners themselves approached us how we're doing. Patrons here were also friendly!
Now for the food. The food was as great as the place itself! My sister and I got Awesome Fries and the sticky wings! Omg it was soooo good! Awesome fries is a pretty big portion. The sticky finger is sprinkled with cilantro and scallion, the flavor is just right. My sister is a big fan of wings and later told me she's still thinking about those wings!
Overall a great restaurant, food, atmosphere, staff, owners, patrons!
