On April 23 I had my hair done at this location paid 180.00 so far 10 braids have came out I went and talk to the owner 4 days ago still nothing I'm so pissed off that Selena take your money and don't care about clients beware of this location
My Hair is excellent. I called Ms. Celena this morning around 9am. She immediately took my phone call as well my appointment. Now unfortunately i was late however made my experience Excellent. She is more than a hairstylist she is an Inspiration to myself. My hair was done by 9pm.
I went to get my hair done by Celina on Thursday Nov 17, 2022. First of all she didn’t have the color I wanted which was fine because ppl running out of color hair. Second the hair she used to do my tribal braids was NOT HUMAN HAIR because, it broke my neck out so bad that it look like I have eczema now. Today is Nov 21, 2022 within 3 days the whole back of my neck turned. Third she charged me $250 for some tribal braids & they are pretty long but still come on now lady, then have the audacity to say she normally charges $300 but I guess she gave me a deal. Now I know I have to take accountability because I rushed to get my hair done for the holidays because I work and thought I’d just get it done on my off day. Last but not least this lady had me in her shop for 11HRS I KID U NOT. I got there at 12:30-12:45pm ish and did not leave until 11:45pm. I spent my whole day with her. I wasted ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY and I’m not mad, because it’s just a lesson learned for me. FOR SURE. I just wanted to bring awareness to this CATFISH SITUATION.
Lucy did a really great job on my braids. Her work is very neat. After she starts she asks if you like it. She will make changes if necessary. Have a picture of the style you want. Got lots of compliments on my braids! If you are in a rush go at another time. They can be slow but I think that's their way. Worth the wait!
I have been getting my hair braided here since I was 13.... it's been 20 years since then and I still love this place. I get my daughters hair done here, I know friends that get their hair braided here as well. The owner always is able to put me on the schedule to get my hair done no matter the late notice. Great, great, great place.
I really enjoy how personable Lucy is. And my braids are gorgeous AND I have received many many compliments. It only took 4 hours (Versus up to 12) for multi-colored box braids because at times, three women were braiding my hair.
I did not give them the full five stars because the state of the shop is in disarray. Disarray. But it is still worth going and I highly recommend it.

I was referred by my friend to this shop and was able to get a next day appt on a Sunday morning for small box braids for my 14yo daughter. We were greeted witha smile as soon as we walked in and the braider did a quick assessment of my daughter’s hair and got started. They supplied the hair. She finished in less than 6 1/2 hours (typically am 8+hr job) and my daughter said it was pain-free. Her braids and parts are VERY neat, and there’s no redness, bumps or tight scalp. I don’t compromise or risk any type of scalp/hair trauma, especially with my baby. The price is reasonable. I’m getting mine done, later this week. I definitely left a tip, she did awesome! Since I have a certain color combo I want, I’m taking my own hair.
I love my hair. It was better than I expected. The lady who braided my hair was awesome and fast l. She made sure I was completely happy with my hair before I left the shop. The price was great and the service outstanding. I will be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know. Thanks for your hospitality
