Best WLM Reviews

통갈비 is awesome, and very kind service! But it is small and smog stuck inside and air conditioner and fans are not enough to keep you dry. You must call 1 hr in advance to order the main whole galbi because it takes so long for slow bbq, which makes it awesome taste.
Heard from my uncle that they serve pico de gallo here to put on the meat. Now THAT’s interesting. Wasn’t sure how it would taste, but man, it’s pretty good with the kalbi. They also serve these marinated onions on the side that go well with all the meats. I’d recommend ordering the chadol/brisket as well. A little pricey but good food overall.
Thick & Juicy. The server ladies are super nice and all the side dishes were great! Tong galbi and pork belly was thick and juicy. Chadol and bean sprouts were a great combo too.
This was an interesting place. It's kbbq but not traditional. My friend told me it's like a mix of Argentinean? We ordered 3 tong galbi (whole rib) and 2 samgyupsal (pork belly) for 6 people(3male, 3female) and it was good. The meat was all cooked in front of us but done by the servers. They were also good about refilling our banchan(side dishes). The tong galbi was amazing! The meat was so juicy and it paired perfectly with the pico de gallo. And samgyupsal was really good too. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the kimchi had a small caterpillar in it. They gave us a new plate from another batch and promised to throw out the batch they used. Otherwise, amazing!
Great gal bi meat was fantastic and juicy
Portion was good too however smoke was too much they need to solve this problem asap.
After 20+ years of eating kbbq in ktown, this is my favorite place!
If you want true consistency, this is the only place in ktown that tastes exactly the same, time after time. Never have been disappointed here. Its not possible! Going here again for my bday dinner just like last year!
Traditional Koeran BBQ restaurant in the Korea town offers wood charcoal grill in the middle of tables.
Foods are awesome and you don't need to cook yourself, servers does it all for you. ( they are also very friendly)
Just enjoy your food with many side dishes (Ban-Chan) and drink ( mix of So-ju with Beer and ask for the whole lemon and squeeze the juice in your drink)
Highly suggest beef ribs. They are thick and tasty
It's a small, hole in the wall, Korean BBQ restaurant that serves probably one of the best Korean BBQ I've had in Los Angeles area. The two ladies that helped us cook the meat were very friendly even though we couldn't understand them very well. They showed us ways to prep and eat Galbi and pork belly the way they said preferred by native Korean. The Galbi is their most popular item, they cooked it perfectly. Combined with their homemade kimchi, it was heaven. Their kimchi is not as spicy as most of other places I've been, it's more sour than spicy. It cuts the grease and brings out the sweetness in the meats. The pork belly, I believe it's black pork, tender and crispy at the same time. Again they cooked it to perfection.
