Lee's chicken tenders are so good. The biscuits are pretty good too. I like the honey mustard sauce. I also got the dirty rice as my side and it did not disappoint for a fast food restaurant. I wish we had these in the Midwest.
We had a terrible experience from ordering to receiving our food. We ordered a 12 piece family meal that get to the window and were given a 4 piece meal. They charged us for both meals than gave us two random sides completely opposite of we ordered. The manager had an attitude and closed the window in our face while we were speaking. We have never seen bangles ran so poorly.
Why have a drive thru if it's always closed. Also why does this location only sell tenders . Extremely expensive tenders at that. Their iced coffee taste like cigarette smoke. Biscuits are always good other sides hit or miss. Was so excited when I saw a Bojangles was coming. Then found out only tenders
Terrible, the girl and guy at the front continued to have their own private conversation and eating, well she was; while I waited for at least 45 more seconds. The guy left the front desk. The girl proceeded to eat her peanuts and speak with food in her mouth.. Then started having a conversation again. Didn't smile, didn't say hi just said what can I get you?. She then took another order all while drinking and eating at the front counter. When my food was called I received it and said I also had a drink, she just pulled a cup our barely glanced at me and ate some more peanuts.
No badge, no receipt given. She was about 5'2 or 5'3 slender, very young and pretty. Long black wavy hair was wearing a jacket over her uniform so her badge may have been covered up.
If this is the service at the front desk, I can only imagine what it's like where you cook the food. This girl has no business working there. I rarely give a bad review, even when service is not so great, but this was The absolute worst service I have had in a long time.
After all of that, my food was not even warmed all the way a part of my country ham was literally ice cold like it had been in the refrigerator.
This happened today, March 21, 2024 at approximately 2:10 in the afternoon
We stopped by after arriving from the airport to take home dinner for family. Our normal Bojangles had closed. We were surprised how good the tenders were and very large. And they cooked my sweet potato pies for me right then and they were perfect. The employees were all working hard and very polite. I do wish they had mashed potatos to go with our large bundle of food. Fries did not hold up well. Over all, we were glad to see them open!
I'm chill about it, but just a heads up since not everybody will be. My friend was holding his card out waiting for the guy at the window to look up from his phone. First time I've ever seen anything like it. Sorry I forgot his name or else I know you could've checked that camera for their shift. It felt dystopian though. Hopefully it doesn't become a thing that we have to wait for servers to respond to their texts before handing us our food.
Edit: Gave them another chance and the lady at the drive thru had to let everyone know she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Didn't answer a menu-related question I think she was in a rush and just kept asking what else. It's almost eerie how this place screams Stay Away. The stars are just for the food, but this is a horrible Bojangles. Won't be returning.
I started coming here when Bojangles closed all of their other locations in Jacksonville. I was disappointed that they don’t have bone in chicken, but the tenders are so good I can deal with no bone in! The service is usually great and the food is amazing!
Let me tell you this, I am from the south and very much use to Bojangles. This Bojangles specifically has had by far the best food I have ever tasted. Every item is perfectly made, melts in your mouth from the tender supremes to the bo berry biscuits we ordered. I would have definitely included a picture if I did not already eat it up. 10/10 I would definitely recommend. Though, the rice was a little bland, it was still good. The fries were perfect, I usually feel as the fries are over seasoned, but they hit it right on. Great job!
