Wonderful local hidden gem of a steakhouse! Service was speedy, food delicious ???? and the atmosphere very relaxing.
Our group of three ordered a rib eye, prime rib and the pork chops. We all got the twice baked potato as the side and the French Onion soup.
The included garlic cheese bread was amazing and was served immediately after placing our orders. The French Onion soup was OK. It had salad croutons and shredded cheese which was a bit odd.
The entrees all were perfectly grilled and very tasty. But the star on all our plates was the twice baked potato! OMG! It was the best we had ever had!
Neither of us could finish the steaks or pork chops, so we were able to box it up and enjoy again on another day.
Helpful hint: Call ahead to make a reservation! Even though we visited early evening on a Thursday night and they weren't busy, they were turning away folks who didn't have a reservation.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend!!
Really a step back in time. The server was very nice and good at her job. We ordered the French Dip. It was average. The beef was very dry. The sandwich was small and not a great value. The French Onion Soup was also very average. It has croutons and some shredded cheese. They could do this so much better.
We tried out dinner here tonight and ended up very disappointed. Food came out cold. No manager anywhere in sight with an apology. The filet seemed low quality for the price point. We ordered mushrooms to go with our steaks, and they came out about 10 minutes after our food. Service was lacking. At the prices charged, I expected hot food, consistent refills of drinks, and quality food, and this place didn't deliver. The twice baked potatoes also had way too much sour cream in them and were gross. Their only win for us was the garlic bread and lobster bisque, which were both very good. For $156, with tip, for 3 people, I would not return. I also wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
We had the small filet and the smoked prime rib. Both were very delicious! The twice baked potato was terrific, side salad was very fresh, cheese garlic bread and crab stuffed mushrooms were okay. Our server was very friendly. It got a bit noisy as more diners were seated but overall we had a really good experience.
Lived here over 15 years and finally dined at this local favorite. We had the ribeye and prime rib. We happened to go on a Monday, which is prime rib night, thus it is at a reduced price. Great tasting steaks and service. Will be back.
Reservations are required, no walk-ins. We stopped by craving a good steak. It was my first time there, my boyfriend’s second time. I had the 12oz NY steak with a baked potato, he had the porterhouse steak with a side of pilaf rice. Both made as ordered, medium. Sides were good and hot. Garlic cheese bread was delicious as well. Everything is made open flame and nothing was dry. The atmosphere was dark, ranch style and rustic. Our waitress was tentative and sweet. We’d come back again to try other dishes.
Drove by without visiting for the last time. This is a cozy steakhouse, and interesting characters are found. They have a typical steakhouse menu, and I had plenty. Table cheese bread, crab stuffed mushrooms, calamari, broccoli soup, 8 oz filet mignon, cheesy potatoes & lobster tail. Karli, the bartender, was quick to prepare drinks & was great conversation. I'm definitely visiting again.
I absolutely love this neighborhood Las Vegas staple. It is nested in an upscale suburb of Las Vegas, and has been around for over 70 years. It is inside an old ranch house. There’s dozens of stray cats that roam the property. Inside of it looks like something out of the 60s and 70s. Let me tell you they have some of the best smoked prime rib I’ve ever had. All of their meats are prime.
