BEWARE!! They’re now serving WEIRD, STRINGY, COMPRESSED Chicken!! I ordered the fried chicken dinner. The chicken SMELLED great! It is SKINLESS with some kind of seasoned batter coating that peeled off in pieces like wallpaper, leaving this disgusting, chewy, stringy, chicken-like meat. As much as I love Uncle Bob, if this is what they’ve gone to, I will NEVER order the chicken again!
The moment we walked in, my man said it was going to be great! It was clean and Gabe off a homey vibe that warms you from the inside out. The staff had crisp uniforms on. My reply was that they must have a great manager.
Once we sat down, our enthusiasm did too.
I ordered steak and eggs Medium Well on both but she didn't write it and she didn't go straight back to ring it in.
My steak came out medium Rare . :(
My eggs were almost medium but not enough for me to eat them. I can't eat that clear gooey stuff on the edge of the yolk.
I asked for a discounted price on the steak or a remake. She had it remade. She offered to put it in a box so we could get back on the road.
The second steak was even more rare than the first.
She should have had the manager just taken off 2/3rds of the price of the steak portion of the meal.
This all happened yesterday, 12/11/23. I had the worst heartburn last night. I've been feeling like I'm going to get sick ALL day. Other stomach issues......
The way one of the pictures looks, I think it was still partially frozen in the center when they were cooked it.
She never offered or brought refills. She was too short and rushed giving me my Togo steak that I felt uncomfortable asking for a to-go coffee. :(
Are there any quality Bob Evans on I-75 in Ohio???
I'd post a photo of my food but it was too good forgot to take one. Our server was amazing very sweet. Highly recommend this Bob evens food is always out standing.
I don't understand why a cook would send out burnt food, not once but twice.
I also don't understand why a server would even bring out burnt food to a customer. They are most likely doing what they're told, take it out anyway and let's see what happens.
I ask to talk to a manager when she came to my table it was excuse after excuse. She should have offered to take the entire item off the bill instead of trying to make me feel like it's my fault that the food was burnt.
Even had a pancake burnt and the cook tried to hide it. Maybe in hopes it wouldn't be found.
One bright point, the biscuits and gravy were really good.
I loved this place the food was incredible very good flavor, some negative details the tea didn't have any flavor it was just unflavored hot water and the soda is not refill
I came here today from out of town with family. I ordered the protein bowl and requested no onions. Unbeknownst to my waitress, the veggies come pre-portioned and she didn’t know until it was ready to be served. Unfortunately, there were way too many onions for me and had to send it back. I was going to do without since everyone had been served but the kind and understanding waitstaff insisted it wasn’t any trouble if I got something else. I quickly settled on the biscuits and gravy which was great. I also appreciated how she recognized my young son several times. Not every waitress does that. Thank you!
Bland food, dust everywhere especially on the wood blinds, waitress barley spoke until she brought the check. It was the wrong check as it had a lot of things we didn't order and we had to wait at the cash register for quite a while for this to be sorted out as the waitress could not be found.
Our breakfast to over a half hour to get to us without the toast. By the time the toast was out his food was cold and I was done with my food. Bacon came out not crispy like he asked and the toast wasn't well done it was like bread heated up. The service was good but the food maybe next time will be better if there is a next time.
