Best WLM Reviews

Food was a little drawback for me over easy just a little to undercooked and the Pan cakes were just to thick and gummy not a light and fluffy cake, but the staff was a plus got your food to you hot checked at regular intervals to see if you needed anything filled your drinks and even offered to put your drinks in a travel cup when you head out. The atmosphere was good, not too noisy and comfortable to eat at... but like always, each person likes their food prepared in a particular way that was not my way, so check it out and decide for yourself.
I've recently done breakfast here several times. Food has been good and service has been stellar. Atmosphere has that 'old school' charm with large wood beams, hardwood accents, and cozy dining layout. Front entrance area has WV merch that is great when you bring out-of-town guests.
Dined here on Easter for a table of 1, staff was extremely busy yet pleasant and helpful answering questions and giving recommendations. The food tasted very good and arrived hot. Drinks were refilled quickly and the dessert looked great, but I'll have to try that next time
Kathy was my server. I wanted to adopt her. Very courtesies and pleasant. I had Bisquit and Gravy
Not bad. The bought my girlfriend in Kissimmee, FL. Cute Ty Toys.
We were very disappointed with our visit. We love Bob Evans mashed potatoes and had take out from one in Florida that was good. We had been looking forward to going when we noticed one in the area. We both had the honey chicken breast on biscuits. The potatoes were cool and the chicken tasted like it had been reheated. Our waitress took forever when we requested a refill, butter and honey. She went and waited on 3 other tables taking their orders before even getting what we requested. She brought back a refill of drink that wasn’t even a full drink and failed to bring honey at all. We eventually just took one off another table. I think in the future we will stick to the potatoes we can buy at the grocery store.
Very nice clean place the server was very nice and attentive. The food was some down home country cooking. I would definitely recommend the chicken fried steak and eggs.
Have you ever had a place that was like your home away from home? The Bob Evans in Morgantown is mine.
I have driven out to Ohio for Thanksgiving more years than I can count (actually probably about 20) and on each of trips we've stopped at this very Bob Evans because it represents that halfway point in the drive. Through all the years and seasons, this place has remained virtually the same. I'm pretty sure the staff hasn't even transitioned at all in my time coming to this establishment - which should tell you something about it.
Situated on the top of a hill overlooking the luscious valleys of West Virginia, this Bob Evans is as picturesque and scenic as it is convenient. It would also provide a really strategic advantage in any sort of military conflict, which I'm sure the owners had in mind when they built the place. On a clear day, you can even see the top of the West Virginia University football stadium peeking out from over a hill on the left. Some say on game days, you can hear the tears and wails of the fans all the way from the restaurant.
To get into the establishment, you need to walk across an old, white porch. A porch just like your grandparents used to have outside of their home. A porch with rocking chairs and splinters. A porch with chipped paint and memories. A porch that leads you home.
On crossing the threshold, you step into the famous Bob Evans shop. You're surrounded by all sorts of delightful knickknacks and trinkets and you realize this is probably the exact place your grandparents got most of the gifts they gave you growing up. What seemed like trash to you as a child now looks a little more sweet and enticing.
There may be a wait to sit and eat, depending on the time that you go. But that's to be expected. This Bob Evans is a local haunt and during peak hours, they are sure to be found inside the familiar walls of this establishment. Once you do get a seat, you'll be greeted with a familiar menu with all the classics that you've come to know and love: the Farmer's Choice, the BIG Egg, the hotcake platter and more. You may also see pages about hamburgers and sandwiches which may seem enticing. But let me encourage you to stick to the familiar roads, my friends. Stick to familiar roads; it's what Bob would have wanted.
As you eat, you'll begin to feel the pangs of heartburn and indigestion flaring up deep inside you. That will all come later, but for now, enjoy more coffee and crispy bacon. There are no troubles in Bob Evans.
You'll get the bill and you'll be surprised at how much a few eggs and pancakes cost you. But you'll look up at the massive mural of Bob Evans on the wall, see his smiling face and surprisingly trendy glasses and realize that you should have paid double for the experience and the memories that this establishment gave you. You'll then sit at the table for a little bit once you wrap your mind around the bill; digesting and enjoying, until you realize that you actually need to go pay at the counter at the front.
As you walk back out to your car, content, happy, satisfied, you'll potentially see someone taking alternating draws from a cigarette and crack pipe and you'll remember the famous words written on the wall of the restaurant and, now, upon to the very fibers of your heart: "Everyone's a somebody at Bob Evans" and you'll smile and nod at the crack head. He'll nod back; you're family now. You'll get in your car and drive away, poorer financially and with a few less years of life to live, but oh, so much richer.
Delightful server. I wish Bob Evans Corp would update the restaurant. I know Bob Evans has a brand to maintain. But it needs "spiffed up"... The beautifully framed photos of Morgantown in the 1900's were wonderful but were hung down too low to really enjoy them. The gift shop was fun, I bought quite a few different items. Be careful, the gift shop floor, is very uneven in various areas and perhaps the word would be "warped" .
