A sloppy Joe! I hadn't had one since my mother used to fix them for us and so, for nostalgia alone, it was going to be good. But, turns out, it was even better than good - it was excellent. Everything on our table was. Bonus points for a great atmosphere and staff.
Blue Top is a great restaurant! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is well-trained and well organized so wait time is minimal. There are a variety of seating options available to patrons. I saw many young families with children.
I had a Southwest Cobb Salad. It was not what I expected. I thought I would have iceberg lettuce, but it was Spring Mix. The dressing was great! My daughter had a Veggie Burger. She said it was wonderful. My husband had a Fish Sandwich. It was very good. We'll definitely return.
Cool vibe and good food. Service was quick. A tad pricey for what you get but overall the food was tasty.
The fish sandwich and waffle fries were absolutely amazing. This place has really good food and a cafeteria style sitting arrangement. The live band was entertaining and it was a nice day outside also. My only drawback would be the dogs allowed into the restaurant. I found it unsanitary as I don't like to have my food served or eat around animals.
A nice, casual place in Chamblee. Really great to sit outdoors in the patio when the weather permits.
Food is alright. There were a few hits (the yum yum cauliflower) and misses (the fried fish sandwich-- fish to bread ratio was off).
Ambiance is nice. It can get busy and loud very quickly.
The BBQ sandwich was large and filled with pulled pork and coleslaw. It came with chips or you can pay$2.50 extra to get fries. The lemon pepper wings were juicy and large. Very flavorful. Self serve on tea and water. They have two outside seating areas as well as inside dining. Very casual atmosphere. Can sit outside in the front and watch the trains go by.
Cool counter service eatery with craft beers on tap and a huge back patio. They have live music. Food is a gastro take on Americana and features some good ole southern fried favorites as well. Gets busy on Friday nights with a lot of families with young kids.
I get to the Atlanta area several times a year and Bluetop has become the one restaurant I make sure I visit each time. Sometimes twice. The outside area is exceptional. I try to plan trips around the weekends for the live music outside. Food and service is very good as well. And the neighborhood has a wonderful, young vibe. Coming back in June
