Good place for a hamburger and fries. The guy at the front was very welcoming and friendly! We had a double cheeseburger-it was well a double cheeseburger nothing special but good-cooked well. We also had the Gouda double cheeseburger with bacon and it was amazing!!!! Sooo good! We also had a side of fries, enough for 2 people if you’re not too hungry. And had Sprite(which was in a can, but served with a glass of ice and a cute lemon straw)
Food is good! Service is even better! The cheese curds need more dipping sauce options. The cocktail I got was very strong! Will be back!
My family and I came here on our way to the Cubs game. Bluebird did not disappoint! It was hands down the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The keto/gluten free chicken is quite tasty. The fries are phenomenal!! We continued to talk about how good the food was hours later! The portion sizes were excellent. The ambiance in the restaurant is welcoming and pleasant. The staff appear to take much pride in the food and are quite friendly. We will definitely be back and will tell others of our great experience!!!
Oh my goodness, I can't believe I forgot to snap a picture of my food again! This burger is seriously the best thing I've ever tasted in my entire life. Every bite is like a party in my mouth - it's just that good! I can't help but get a total foodgasm every time I take a juicy and delicious bite.
My wife and I tried this new spot in Portage Park recently and loved it. Originally we ordered via grubhub and the food arrived fast hot and right. The bluebird cheeseburger is one of the better cheeseburgers I’ve had at a great value price. While I’ve not tried everything I do know that the truffle macaroni is sublime as are the sweet potato tots. I went back for lunch today to discover they have a nice seating area both inside and outside patio area. I found that bluebird was clean and I liked pretty much everything about Bluebird.
It’s nice to have a new higher end feeling place here in Portage Park. Feels gourmet without the gourmet prices.
I think it should be on your must try list, you won’t be disappointed.
The place stays true to the reviews. Great customer service! We had the truffle burger, chicken sandwich, and Mediterranean salad. The burger was on point with the hard sear and the chix sand hit all marks. The salad was huge and super fresh. Thanks guys
We came upon this place by accident looking for a burger and I can tell you it was really great. I had the bacon jamburger and it was excellent and somebody had the Gouda burger and they loved it too. The elotes was fire. Service was spot on and super friendly people. Definitely a great place to eat.
Took a long time for the overworked/overwhelmed front person to take my order between a heavy influx of online/app orders. Couldn’t even get my beer and when I did it was heavy on the foam. Apparently all their beer are served that way, flat. The food was ok but took forever, it was a cold night so it felt like I was eating outside in the cold. The side of chicken I ordered was served cold and a side of reproach was also served when they realized I had rated them. SMH.You’ll be better off ordering from this place thru an app since it seems to be their main focus. Was made to close out ny check before I even finished eating, made me feel like they thought that maybe I would dine and dash, they must’ve seen a “bad hombre”. -3 stars on the service.
Avery, when I asked if all the beers where coming out the same you said yes. No mention of a “regulator” nor the offer to replace or substitute was made either so no miscommunication there. I waited to see what it would taste like and it was flat. Our conversation was merely about an item no longer on the menu and the second time you spoke to me was more of a confrontation about the rating. I’m disappointed because the past few times I’ve been here I’ve had a great time with the front crew and food had always been delicious. Today was just a terrible disappointment.
