When I tell you this gender reveal cake was perfect, what I mean is that it was PERFECT. The artistry was beyond beautiful and the taste and texture were absolutely marvelous. Often cakes this gorgeous don’t taste good, but this was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Totally exceeded my expectation and even imagination. We looked around a few bakeries in Athens, and I’m so glad we went with Blue Rooster. They understood the assignment, and were really easy and fun to work with, too.
Great bakery, festive atmosphere, super trooper nice staff! Sat down and had some pastries and took some cookies and cupcakes to go. Spotlessly clean, even the restrooms. Stop by for a quick bite, you won’t be disappointed.
Very clean and organized. Great selection of different deserts. The deserts taste amazing. The cake decorator was amazing when talking with him about making my daughters birthday cake. The overall customer service great. And the atmosphere is very inviting. I suggest stopping in and trying a cupcake when you can.
Love their desserts! The cupcakes and cookies are delicious! Many unique varieties. Friendly staff. Very busy at lunch hour on the weekends so I'm assuming lunch is good as well. Several different cupcake flavors and designs to choose from on display.
I cannot recommend The Blue Rooster enough!! Scott, the cake artist in Monroe, is INCREDIBLE. He can quite literally do it all. I’ve bought many cakes from The Blue Rooster, several before Scott started decorating there, and they are delicious! Excellent recipes and they were beautiful. The last 3 cakes I’ve gotten have been decorated by Scott and he is truly an artist! You can 100% trust him with your vision for your special occasion. In the photos, the bluebird, Bluey, and My Melody were done by Scott. (Oh, all their pastries, chicken salad, potato salad and pimento cheese are delicious too!!) :)
Scott did an amazing job executing my daughter’s “Dream” birthday cake for her Sweet Sixteen. She loved it. It is beautiful. All of the treats in the restaurant looked AMAZING. It’s located in cute downtown Monroe. I would definitely recommend! We will be back!
Will Never Use Blue Rooster for a Cake Again!! Paid $75 for this Cake & Icing Fell Off & Cake Began to Lean After Bringing Straight Home & Put Into Fridge Immediatly... I called them to discuss what happened and they said if was my fault! What!!! How did I cause this icing to fall off? I was also given the cake in an open box for transport and the sunflower was hitting all sides of the box constantly. Took me 1 1/2 weeks go get someone to speak with me. Then they were extremely rude when I called in to discuss the situation and told me I had caused this to happen...
i just moved to downtown monroe with my family and we love this place!!! they have amazing cupcakes me and my boyfriend come in all the time! the girls here are super sweet and kind to us every time! can’t wait to come back for more amazing treats!! ????
