Beautiful lake nestled in the Ouachita mountains. Definitely a great place to enjoy the water!
Beautiful, scenic lake at the base of Mt. Magazine. We stayed in #3 campsite and could look up at the Lodge. There is no sewer hookup and the site is gravel and not level, thus the missing 5th star. Also, our view of the lake was literally blocked by our camper, making us want to be inside more than out to see the lake. It’s a 30 minute drive to Mt. Magazine so be sure to take advantage of some truly breathtaking views, great hiking and sightseeing. Friendly staff, pet friendly. VERY QUIET campground.
This lake is breathtaking. Something out of a fantasy world. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Treasured memories.
Excellent fishing. Beautiful spot as well. Highly recommend.
The fish were biting and the fellowship was great. I like the fish cleaning station at Waveland park, it's very handy.
It's a beautiful lake!
Loved this place! We stayed 6 days. Fishing was iffy... wind and rain fouled us up. The campsite was clean. It was very quiet! The loudest thing was the boats taking off from the ramp. The park attendees were helpful and very friendly! Lots to do! There was even a wedding held at the park gazebo! (A stage and seating are available that has a wonderful sunset view[refer to the pictures I posted]) Needless to say, we've already reserved for next year. A++++++++++
Went there for first time to camp. At the camp site it self was ok. Around the camp site and along the whole camp grounds could've been more invited .. the grass/ weeds needed to be mowed down.
Had beautiful views.
