Was all good until someone took my beer from the table without asking. If it's not totally empty, I'm not done with it...
Then I got these wings which look disgusting. I would never present something like that to a customer having been a cook before they look like they've been freezer burned. They went ahead and charged me for them anyway even though I didn't eat them and suggested I just go ahead and eat them.
Food was delicious and excellent portions for the price (fish in chips was amazing, the thai chili sauce on the wings was the best thai chili sauce I have ever had, gaitor bites and mahi mahi bites were excellent). Beer was nice and ice cold! Service was excellent!
The food was great, and the service was great. Some items were a bit salty for my fellow patrons. Like the fried corn and clam chowder. Oysters were on point for me. Fried shrimp and French fries were great. It's a bit of a tight fit inside, but all in all, it was a great experience.
This is our new crab cakes and fish place! Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Amazing flaky delicious crab cakes drizzled with tasty bayou sauce, perfectly battered fish and yummy fries. Can’t wait to try the key lime pie later! Doordash delivered by David
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this place on the inside. Lots of seating available, amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. By far, the best Long Island Iced Tea I have ever had. Unfortunately, the fish was a very small portion with too much seasoning, and the vegetables were overcooked and salty. The fries, however, were as expected. So overall, good drinks, good fries, good atmosphere, and great service!!
Had a fun visit. There was a duo singing and playing guitars. Lots of great songs and people were singing along. food and drinks were good and they were offering drink and brunch specials. Definitely going back again.
Tried the "Boozy Brunch" today, offered Sundays at 11 am. Was worried that bottomless mimosas would be too much acid, but was seriously mostly champagne with a touch of OJ ...yum. And food was amazing. At The Blue, normally my main problem is having to wait to eat while the food cools down. ALWAYS worth the wait. AND worth the price. Scrumptious
The chicken wings are the best!!!! Meaty and delicious! Took forever for wait staff to get to us though. Atmosphere is pretty typical for a bar and grill. I will definitely go back.
