Above average local tavern. Many locals . I think the customers are friends and associate with one another outside of this bar.
Back home we would call this a good ole boy bar. Like the show Cheers from nick at night.
We spent a lot and left quite happy. But it’s not an expensive place. We had a little too much fun.

Absolutely they rudest bartender I’ve ever encountered. Totally cruel and racist. Didn’t know the bar was for Americans only. We will go down the road where our American money is appreciated. And then we will call the anti defamation league and file and complete complaint. Racial slurs in 2022 comes from pure ignorance.
One of a kind place. Spent ALOT of time there. Miss my friends that frequent there and those who did and passed. My kind of place.
Nothing Fancy About this place ????. Just good ole friendly, hometown people making a honest living. Good place to shoot pool & have a drink. Alsi has a drive thru service & tons of free parking.
Been going to the Block over 35 years. I stop in when I get off the train coming back from michigan to visit old friends. Always have to stop in and have a few beers and maybe something to eat if I have any room. Lol Great place to relax and have a good time.
