What a cute place! We're mostly attracted by the name because we are traveling through town. The staff was very friendly. They say they're famous for their hamburgers. I had the olive burger and it was good. It's a great place to meet friends and talk or just relax.
This place has a reputation, for those of you who don't know what the bloated goat is let me explain. This is THE bar in the Fowlerville area. Known by locals, bikers, outsiders, everyone has a story about there time at The Bloated Goat. Yes there is an actual Goat head inside, no you cannot take it, many have tried all have failed! A decent selection of beer and liquor at reasonable prices. Food is ok but what you go to the Goat for is to drink. Parking on the street can be tricky, but don't give up, you'll find a spot eventually! Come see the Goat today!
We absolutely love bloated goat. Their fish and chips are soooo good! We unfortunately can’t go there anymore for a while because they don’t have high chairs which is super unfortunate for those who have families in Fowlerville and surrounding areas. It limits who can go there. They said it’s because they are a dive bar but every single other dive bar I have been to has had high chairs. We used to bring a big group in as well at times and now we all don’t go.
VERY CLEAN old bar! The burgers are #1, get extra napkins. The service is friendly and helpful. Recommend, as well as the new "coffee" shop in town.
Neither one of those took a picture of our food which seems crazy because we usually do. We're not from that area so we threw our finger on the map and landed at this saloon. The pretzel bites were amazing and their burgers were absolutely fantastic and the three ladies that were working there were quite Pleasant. Great atmosphere
It's always enjoyable time at the goat. My HS buddies and I visit couple times a year. Good beer. Good chow. Good waitress. Great salt and pepper shakers.
Cool spot, good atmosphere. Food is fair. It's the only spot in town. Great place to have a drink.
The Goat is a good little spot. Great food. Service is usually quick and the people always friendly. Me and a group of friends like to stop by after work, it's a good place to relax, shoot some pool and listen to the juke box.
