The caprese salad was good. It would have been a lot better with chunks or balls of cheese. The cheese sandwich was also really good but for the amount of bread you get it needed more cheese. The acai bowl was perfect. The service could have been better. I feel like because we didn’t fit their idea of their type of costumer they really weren’t friendly towards us like they were other people who came in.
The good: great coffee and pretty looking lemonades, atmosphere is good and although it was created from a speakeasy idea (which has no vibes of that) is spacious and plenty of seating.
The bad: coming from Miami FL the feeling of having good cuban bread is like no other. Their breakfast sandwich looks and was good. But definitely felt like it was more of a generic mass produced perfect circle scrambled egg in the sandwich. Nothing wrong about the taste, it just wasn’t the vibe that one expects from a coffee shop in Ybor city. Lastly, the “old fashioned donut” felt like a box donut from your local grocery store.
The coffee is great. We got here at 10 am on a Sunday and within minutes the place was packed. It is beautifully decorated. The food is very expensive for what you get.
I got the cafe bombon and it was perfect not too sweet and not too bitter. The person that took our order was very nice. The interior was very nice and it was a good place for me to do my homework at.
This is my first time at the new location, I used to go to the old one. The decor is wonderful, and the coffee taste great as always.
4.5 stars? On what? I gave it one star for the coffee. Breakfast sandwiches were not that good. $9 for a piece of bread, eggs a tomatoe and some leaves, not even bacon! Just a bland sandwich. Overpriced and not really that good. I wish they would have at least a dunkin donuts in Ybor city, it was hard to find an actual restaurant that served real food or in my case, real breakfast.
Visiting from Jacksonville and stopped in to grab a coffee. I love this space and the long bar top that essentially extends the length of the shop. This was my first time in a Blind Tiger coffee shop. The staff were very helpful and my coffee was delicious! I’ll definitely be back.
We only came here for the Cuban coffee. Very good. The barista was super helpful and so nice.
