Best WLM Reviews

The food here is so delicious. I had the jerk shrimp, which was served piping hot and nice and spicy. I loved the spiciness of it! It doesn't appear that the shrimp is currently in the menu, so it might have been a seasonal dish. Honestly though, I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order.
My first time coming I got a small stew chicken plate. Food is decent for the price but nothing over the top. However, I did not like that the cabbage had corn and green beans in it. I never seen authentic Jamaican food made that way! I REALLY DISLIKED the presentation of the food!! They need to do better! They obviously do not take pride in their food and are not very clean! They give a lot of food but LOOK AT THIS PLATE NOW! It just does not look professional! Why is my plate flooded with gravy and all this meat, it is not a good ratio to balance the meal! I also only received 3 scrawny pieces of plantain
This was not a very pleasant experience and they have mediocre customer service! They need to update their service! They just use square up and inserted an amount for me to pay. How do I know this is accurate? They could not give me a physical receipt. I WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN!
The only reason for the star being taken away is the cashier taking my order gave me such a stank attitude I kinda wanted to take my business elsewhere. They didn't have plantains that day, so I just asked for more rice and cabbage and she was like we don't do that. Even though it's written as part of the meal. Then she joked with the lady in the kitchen about it and I think she hooked me up. But another gentleman who was on the phone during his order received a very different experience when he was asking for extra stuff for his dish. It's totally messed up way of doing business. Got the oxtail dinner portion and it was really good. I question if it's really oxtail because the pieces were really small as if it could've been goat.
RATED AVOID!
I found this place in March of this year (we're currently in April). I've ordered the Oxtails 10 TIMES via Uber Eats because the flavor is delicious. HOWEVER, the service is sub-par. The portions are inconsistent to the point that you receive the smallest oxtails of the batch at times. The quality is inconsistent as well, and it seems like if you order too early, they give you yesterday's batch. Lastly, you have to call and request extra gravy (because you'll receive dried rice if you don't), and most of the time, they don't answer the phone but when they do they have an attitude! It doesn't matter that you put notes on the order, you won't receive it at all. I literally think they hate that request and put extra oil on the rice instead of gravy to retaliate. After spending $40 for lunch (after fees and tip) 10 times, I can confidently say that I will not return. It's not worth it just because the flavor and quality is good only sometimes.
Wanda at the cashier was so nice to me today. I was coming from eye surgery and she pleasantly read off the menu for me. Also hooked me up with a scotch bonnet. The red peas soup with chicken foot was the best I've had, and the oxtail was delicious. Good portions, and that oxtail gravy will make your mouth water. Only minor quible is the plantain could have been sweeter/ riper. While they don't serve pork here, check it out anyway. The chef knows what he's doing!
Went for short ribs but they didn't have any, so I settled for ox tails... when ordering I seen the menu said, "ask for extra gravy if wanted". I should've known to ask for it, because my oxtails were a bit dry. I drove over an hour to get there, so was a little disappointed to find out there were no public restrooms. Overall the experience was regular, nothing special. The food was good, but nothing that stands out...
First time here and I love me some good Caribbean food so I was like let me try this place out. They did not disappoint the workers energy is good and the food is good definitely will have to pull up and support this business again.
The food here was incredible. The beef patty might be the best one I've ever had. The curry goat was almost as good. My only regret is I didn't get to come back here to have more! Highly recommend.
