We've been to Blackwells for tint in the past for all our vehicles with no issues. We just purchased a brand new vehicle ( which had to be picked up out of state as there was none available locally) and decided to take it to get tinted. From past experiences we thought it would be fine but clearly not. Not sure if it's new staff or just laziness but the job was so careless. The rubber trim is all cut and chopped at, the tint isn't cleanly done, there was glue, smudges, and dirt all over the exterior and interior of my NEW vehicle. They left a razor blade in my back seat (thankfully it was closed as my child sat on it). They tethered my 3rd row seat belt to the headrest of my 2nd row and locked it where I had to go to chevy to get it fixed.
One thing after another, I did send my husband back and he was told that "it happens, that's normal". I will NOT recommend Blackwells anymore to any one after this last experience. Now I need to pay even more out of pocket to get the situation rectified by a REPUTABLE company. BE WARNED ⚠️
Costed me $240 For my 1994 Chevy extended cab Truck with the Sliding back glass To Get tinted, Dropped it off Came back 3 Hours Later to See My Speakers Throwed Everywhere, Amp Wires Pulled out (Which Blew my Amp When I turned the Radio on because I didn't see it in time) Windows Was Left With Nasty Smudges EVERYWHERE, They Told me They Couldnt Wipe it Off or clean it for 3 Days. But if my Truck was In Nicer condition they would have NEVER Left it so Nasty on the Inside. Then They told me their was some Spots that was hard to tint which is understandable I guess, Told me to come back in 2 Days and they would Touch it up with a Tint marker, So 2 And a half days later I came back to get all the spots they missed touched up with Their tint Marker. Got Their and got told my Tint was Still "Too Wet" In 90 Weather. So Whatever, Came back in two more Days again And Got Told They Were too "Busy" To take 5 Minutes " If That" To Touch up Maybe 6 Spots they Clearly Missed. Okay Whatever Came Back Today (July 19 2023) And Got told the Guy that Does It is on (Lunch Break) That it would Be 1 Hour and a Half to come back again in that time frame ( I Clearly Seen The Guy In the Shop Working and Not on Lunch Break But whatever. Get their ONCE AGAIN 2 Hours later and Get Told ( He Said your Gonna have to drop It off for a Couple of hours for us to do it. He's really Busy Right now) At this point I Asked The boy To ask Him If ( I MYSELF COULD JUST DO IT MYSELF ) He said "No It's a Type of paint" I'm Busy Rightnow And Can't get to it. (Their were only TWO CARS IN THE BAY AT THE TIME With 3 People Sitting Around. So At this Point I'm P*SSED Off. They Will NEVER Get My Business Again Or Any Of My Friends and Family's Business again ( Which has been Going their For Literally YEARS AND YEARS. Overall Love the Woman That Helped me and The Kid That Talked to me Today, But The Guy That Said He'd (Touch it up with a Tint marker) Needs To Go. Poor Attitude. Disrespectful and Not willing to Help a customer for 5 Minutes of his time When I've Been Their 4 Differn't Times and Nothing Done.
This place always provides excellent quality of craftsmanship and incomparable customer service. I will always send my family and friends here for their tinting needs.
They have always been trustworthy and honest people from my experience with them.
They did the front windshield and side windows on my ram 2500 and I don't think I could possibly be any happier with how it came out!
First time customer. They came highly recommended and I know one of the employees. The tint looks amazing. Very professional and had my car in and out in a few hours. Great job all!!
Have had my last 3 cars tinted here. Always superb quality and care. The tint on my 4Runner is 8+ years old and has never faded/purpled. Will always get my vehicles tinted at Blackwells.
Had our Toyota Camery tinted today. They did an excellent job and service was quick and well done.
They charged me $200 to detail the inside of my Santa Fe and I dont think they even tried it was a joke. I ended up finishing it myself with upholstery cleaner from dollar general. I reached out to them on their FB and they wont respond.

They've done just about all of my vehicles and my wife's we've owned for over 10 + years. Always done a good job. Even when something messed up (is bound to happen who doesn't roll down or start to roll down a freshly tinted window), their fault or mine nonetheless, it was quickly made right. Most of the time they've always corrected the fault and never even hinted at me paying for anything. I appreciate the good work.
