About 100yds down a paved path, there is access for those mobility impaired access. It is a great view of the falls too! Many times those viewing areas for those with limited capability aren't nearly as great as those to others, but I was very impressed. I didn't attempt the other main viewing area as I saw stairs without a railing and knew to avoid it.
Gentle trail is good place for handicap to see the falls. Short hike on paved path. Falls themselves are beautiful to see. Would add it to the list of things to check out in the area.
Backwater Falls overlook. This is on the opposite side of the main entrance of Blackwater. It is a very short very easy walk to see the falls from a different vantage point. You should definitely check out this spot. There is parking for about 6 or 7 cars at the entrance.
A good view of Blackwater Falls through the forest.
This location is inside the Blackwater Falls park. There are at least 3 places to see the falls from inside the park. This is probably the easiest view although it is from the longest distance so it may not be the best place to view the falls. The view by the trading post on the north side seems to have a much better view. If you have time and can go down the steeper slope of the trail or stairs by the trading post, I would suggest checking both locations out while in the park. This view/location is about 1/3 of a mile past the intersection as you enter the park and about 600 feet past the bridge as you drive into the park. Drive toward the lodge and this stop will be on the right hand side of the road. There are not many parking spaces at this location. The walkway is on the north side of the parking lot. This is the wheelchair accessible view of the falls. It is a short walk from the parking lot (about 0.25 mile) and is an easy trail to get to the viewpoint. It is a beautiful view and well worth the stop. I recommend this for my fellow travelers visiting the park.

The view from here is not as nice as the other side of the river by the visitors center, but it's a very short walk and still a spectacular view.
This is a great view of Blackwater Falls, higher up and opposite the main boardwalk viewing area. The trail to the observation area is short and well maintained.
