It was our first time here. The food was really good. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. We had a training waitress and she did a good job. They have lots of variety There's definitely something for everyone! From meat to seafood to sandwiches to soup and salad, lots of sides and appetizers and drinks. The garlic parm fries are really good and I loved the steak with lobster and scallops. The scallops were a very generous size. I would recommend the wings and Buffalo chiekn rangoons to start.
Food was very good, French onion soup was lacking in flavor and depth. Everything else very good, prices were reasonable For the portion size, our waiter Cam was spot on and excellent. We dined in the igloos. There is an up charge of 10 dollars a person. A little steep if you have a big party, it was fun, and we were very comfortable.
Of course, I pick a massively busy day to go; Mother's Day. Quite busy. The staff was running like crazy and quite cheerful and professional. The beer selection was great. I ordered the prime rib with a potato and broccoli. Broccoli was perfectly steamed. The baked potato was fairly warm-ish, as was the prime rib. My biggest complaint was probably the steak knife. It was heavy and serrated, and came with the prime rib. It barely cut the very tender meat, and mostly just pulled it apart. I asked for a much sharper knife, and got a knife that was certainly sharper, but was only almost adequate. Can't have everything.
Yum!!! Great service, friendly and attentive staff! The food was beautifully cooked with very nice flavor! The variety of the menu is quite big, something for everyone! Unique yummy drinks as well as a two page long dessert menu!!! There are so many good things here and for redonable prices. My husband and I look forward to booking private dining next time! There are no places anywhere around that do this! We're looking forward to our next visit!
I underestimated this restaurant. The food was delicious, the dessert was amazing, and the service was great. It only took 15 minutes for our appetizers. Then it took another 20 minutes for our food. I was surprised how fast the dining was. I am very satisfied and very grateful for this awesome restaurant.
We went back a second time and it is still the same excellent food and service.
It's a long shot but Gordon Ramsay from Hells kitchen should come here because this restaurant is exceptional and so great!!!
I have been a customer at the Black and White Grill since it opened. We love to eat in or get take out. Over the last several months we have noticed a change in the quality of their food. Tonight I ordered a Greek Salad and an Antipasto Salad. Both salads appeared to be well made until we dug in. The lettuce was not fresh and a good amount of it was brown. After picking around the brown lettuce more than half of both salad went into the trash. I can say that my son’s calzone was very good. Very disappointed in what was once our favorite family restaurant. When you pay $20+ for a salad you expect quality and not produce that should have been tossed in the trash a couple of days earlier.
For Appetizers we did the potato skins and the Buffalo Chicken Rangoons, for main entrees, we did the Hawaiian Pizza, for dessert we the flour less chocolate cake and the blueberry cheesecake. The potato skins lacked flavor. I did enjoy the buffalo chicken rangoon. The pizza was disappointing and lackluster. Both of the desserts were good. Our waiter was very good and attentive. The problem I always had with this restaurant, way to many options and non of it is good. Shrink the menu , and master it.
Cute & quaint restaurant with extensive menu - something for everyone & excellent service. Lovely wine menu & they are happy to give you wine tastings if requested. The pizza was phenomenal & even excellent cold the next day. We got the Godfather & would definitely get again. We got a seafood casserole that was decadent !!!
Great atmosphere/ food & service.
