We stopped in here on Saturday four a quick snack while tubing. I was expecting a bar with only frozen pizzas and snacks. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered a drink which was good (not weak). The bartender was quick and friendly, and the place was packed! We were lucky to get two bar seats. The food we ordered was really good. My husband ordered the Reuben quesadillas and I ordered nachos. Both were very good! I saw some good looking burgers go by and the guy sitting next to me had chili. He says he always orders that.
They have an excellent menu.I love the specialty tamales and the Corned Beef Reuben sandwich. Awesomeness!
Food is fantastic! Try the tacos, quesadillas and tamales. Servers are super nice. And the prices are reasonable. The best happy hour in the area! AND the deck is dog friendly. The server brought my pup treats and they have water bowls if needed. The deck faces the ski hill away from freeway noise. Can't say enough good stuff about this place!
Our table was there on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We had the Cheeseburger, the Mexi Bacon Burger and the Fish Tacos. Generous portions and everything was REALLY GOOD!! The burgers were juicy, the fries were done perfectly the buns were beautiful and the Fish Tacos were awesome with a hot sauce on the side. The hot sauce is hot! I would highly recommend a trip off the beaten path to eat there.
Place has plenty of potential and should not be ignored. The bartender was fantastic. It was a little slow but the views of buck hill are the best. Ceaser salad was tasty but the chicken was a little on the dry side. Nothing terrible but noticeable. I'll definitely be back as I watch the kids practice!
The food here is fantastic! Wife had the Burrito Bowl and couldn't finish it because it was such a good sized portion. I had the Mexi Burger and the meat was cooked perfectly and the guacamole on top was really good. Keep up the great cooking, we certainly will be back!
This place is such a cozy, relaxing area. I wouldn't even need to be here to ski to come and enjoy. The food is great. We had tried multiple pizzas as a large group, the sausage pizza had monster pieces of sausage, it was crazy good. The veggie pizza was also smashing with large mushrooms and pieces of fresh broccoli. Prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of beer including local options. Also they have a Facebook page that list special food and I am sad I missed the Philly steak Chimicanga that they had last summer. They also have a taco bar on Friday at lunch. Parking is crowded but expected for a ski hill.
Great spot, came because of a recommendation from a friend and it was as good as they said! Cool atmosphere and awesome food. Tons of games on tv and general manager/server were super friendly. Definitely be back! Awesome view of buck hill as a bonus.
