Best WLM Reviews

Fun cozy atmosphere but really not a great restaurant. Just a place to get drinks. We waited over 45 minutes for two burgers and fries and there was just one other table. Also the order was wrong but I didn’t want to wait another hour for them to fix it. For good burgers go to Underbelly instead.
Really happy we stumbled upon this place while visiting for the weekend. The bartender Barry was beyond amazing. He made great cocktails and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were still doing good. Also the food is exceptional one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. I had the elk burger and it was cooked perfectly. All around great atmosphere, definitely stop in if your in the area!
Good atmosphere! Even better bartender. Food is fantastic come here rather than Glenwood springs. You won't regret the decision
The server did a good job and no complaints with her. The food was very mediocre, the nachos were stale and had to be sent back, the fish and chips were edible, and the chicken quesadilla was very dry. The beer was good, along with the pretzels and cheese.
Had a great experience at the Black Dog last Friday! I got the special burger for the evening with sweet potato fries, and I was not disappointed. I loved how the peanut sauce worked so well with the bacon jam on the burger, never would have that of that. The service was great, and the so were the drinks. I highly recommend the "Cool Shorts" cocktail. So refreshing with summer season coming. Will definitely be back!
Great service, bartender was off the charts, knew what I wanted before I even ordered. Bypass Glenwood and come to this bar for a great time
Not worth your time not worth your money. The owners of this establishment don't have a clue. They don't take care of their employees and they don't listen to the customers, at least not the right ones. Check out Wingchester's in rifle or you can check out funky bear in Battlement Mesa for better establishments. Far better food and they treat their employees like they're supposed to be the right way.
Elk burger with cranberry jelly and fries was tasty. Restaurant recently changed ownership and name to Black Bear. Great service and hospitality.
