Home of the 14 inch pancake. Every inch tastes great. Their breakfast was very good. Very busy at 10a.m. Thursday but we'll taken care of by friendly and efficient staff. Can't wait to go back!
The food here is larger than life. We did not expect the portion sizes even after seeing all kinds of food come out. There was a pretty long wait, but if your that good, then people will wait….and we did. The food was really good and our waitress was awesome! The pancakes are larger than your head.
Tried Billy Gail's for breakfast, went on a Wednesday so they were not very busy. We were seated right away. Waitress was very friendly and nice. I got the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and bacon. Added the 14" pancake for $5.99. The food was good and the portions were huge. Make sure you bring an appetite and are hungry. Prices were fine for the amount of food. I would recommend this place to anyone who has time to sit down for breakfast and have a good meal.
Billy Gail's is wonderful at every location. Today was no different. Fun country atmosphere. Delicious food with great portion sizes. Our waitress was so nice and had a beautiful Russian sounding accent. She did a fabulous job. We hope to return at our next trip to Branson.
I enjoy breakfast meals just about anytime. I came across this restaurant in a search while in Branson. We were seated relatively quickly and the server came in a reasonable amount of time.
My wife ordered the wheat toast with avocado spread and eggs. The server asked if she was fine with how it came and my wife responded, "no tomatoes, please." When the dish came out, there were tomatoes all over it and the avocado was simply sliced up laying on top of the toast.
I called the server over to get it exchanged for one without tomatoes and asked about the avocado spread. She said we didn't ask for it without tomatoes and really got an attitude. She took the plate back. When it was brought back out, it was the same exact plate minus the tomatoes and the previous sliced avocado was now mashed down in the toast. The eggs and toast were cold and there were bits of tomato in the avocado spread.
The server was very defensive and blamed us for not ordering it correctly to begin with. I even recounted the conversation she had with my wife, word for word, and she said it never happened. I don't recall her name, but she had a bobbed hair cut with bleach blond hair. Very unprofessional. We won't be back.
Aside the really long wait, we had the best experience here! It was our favorite place to eat, the entire trip. The sloppy biscuits were so savory, and of course we had to try the 14” pancake. I will say that servings are large. Our daughter got the single stack chicken and French toast and barely got half down. Such an amazing venue to eat.
We went here after seeing a video on YouTube while exploring things to do and places to go on our vacation. I ordered the 1 lb. Pork tenderloin and it lasted for 3 meals. My partner ordered a stack of 3 pancakes and wishes that he had heeded the server's suggestion of ordering one, maybe 2. The food was very good.
We’ve been trying to eat here or the other one for years. Finally got to go this morning. There was no wait. Food portions are big. Food was good, not as wonderful as I thought it might be but very good. Service was very good. We’ll be back someday. Go on a weekday after 9, that helps the wait time. #OzarkMountainRealtor
