Liza did an amazing job for my special day. My make up and hair were exactly what I had envisioned. I definitely recommend Bijoux Hair and Makeup.
Do not go here.. terrible experience. I chose this place to do my hair and makeup for my wedding pictures based off of the reviews. The owner Liza was emailing me about the appointment when I asked specifically if she would be doing my hair/makeup or if someone else would. She lied and said it would be her. Come to find out it was not her at all. One hour before I was supposed to be at my appointment she asked me where we are doing the hair and makeup. I was under the impression it would be at the salon like every other hair place but she stated it was “under construction”. I had to last minute find a place to do it and then the girl was 25 min late to the appointment. I texted Liza to see where she was and she never answered. Then when the girl finally arrived she said the salon isn’t taking clients anymore because more people wanted to do it at their house (another lie from Liza). Then as I was getting my hair done Liza called the girl to “make sure she found it”. The girl doing my hair burnt all my hair as it was smoking while she was curling it and smelled like smoke for 5 days afterwards when she claimed “her hairspray just makes it smoke she doesn’t know why but she promised it wasn’t burning my hair.” It 100% did ruin my hair. This place is a joke of a hair salon never ever choose here for your services. I usually do not write reviews but after the numerous lies from Liza (the owner) and how ruined my hair was I thought I would help more girls out to decide against this place. Trust me you will not regret going somewhere else!
What an incredible experience I had! I was lucky enough to get my hair and makeup done for a wedding and not only did I look great but I felt great! Genuine conversations were had, these ladies are truly amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend!
I am very happy with the work that Liza made????% We showed her a picture of the inspiration and it came out exactly like what we asked for???????? Her service and attention was more than expected.

I chose this particular hair and makeup person, because we needed it to be close to my granddaughter's house and the hotel I would be staying at, for the photo shoot and for the day of her Quinceañera. On the day of the photo shoot, I was in my hotel room getting ready to go to the appointment, when I received a text giving me a totally different address from the one, I had been given before. The location was over 30 minutes from my hotel and over 40 minutes from the photo shoot. The previous location was 15 minutes away from the hotel and 25 minutes away from the photo shoot. This destination was way out in the boonies and I am not exaggerating. The address led us to an actual house. I wish I had asked to begin with, but I never thought that it wouldn’t be a salon. The name “Bijoux Belles Hair & Makeup” was misleading. I was not happy by this or the address change, but I couldn’t back out, at this point. The person took us inside the house and we realized that she had set up in her dining room. It was very dark inside; one of the reasons being, that she had set up on the other side of a wall, away from the windows and light that came through them. She asked me how we had learnt about Lizza. This is when I realized that she was not even Lizza and I had been communicating with someone else. She never told us her name. (Maybe, irrelevant, but she didn’t even offer us some water.) I was very worried about the time it was going to take because now, I had to drive clear across town, for the photo shoot. As soon as she finished, we paid her, gave her more than a 25% tip and left. I kind of, had to drive pretty fast to make it to the other side of town.
My granddaughter looked in the mirror in the vehicle and saw that the shade was two shades darker than she was, plus she actually looked like she was wearing makeup that they use on corpses. She almost wanted to cry and I told her not to, because she was just going to mess up the makeup. She said it was already a mess; this broke my heart to see her with tears in her eyes. I told her to wipe it off and do it the way she normally, did. She did it on the way over to the photo shoot and since, it was a long way, she had time to do it, but we were already late when we got there, because we were supposed to get there 15 minutes early, so that we could get her in her dress and lace her up. Just the lacing alone took a long time and we still had to put all her jewelry on. My granddaughter had just had her hair cut, and she was sporting very healthy hair. She even sent me a picture of the back of her hair. She has this picture with the date and time details and it was a few days before the hairdo. We took a picture the day after the session, showing how badly, this individual had burned her hair with the curl n iron; this was the worst part. We have this picture, date & time-stamped as well. The event happened 4 days ago on July 15th, 2023. I never heard from anyone after the sitting that happened on June 15th 2023. Shouldn’t they have contacted me to see how things went, especially, close to the event to finalize details? I left a $100 deposit; I guess I’m not getting it back.
I might not have done this review and told them directly instead, but they didn’t make the effort to contact me.
Liza and her team were AMAZING to work with. We had a big wedding party (7 + bride) and she was so accommodating when the day of we added 2 people to get their hair/make-up done. She helped keep the atmosphere very relaxed before the wedding, she was very kind and really took the time to listen to each person getting their hair/make-up done to make sure the final product was what they wanted (and even better!). The hair and make-up lasted the whole day. Thank you Liza!

Bijoux Belles was amazing! Their communication from the day of booking until our wedding day was really professional and she eased any worry or concern we had. Everyone’s hair and make up was beautiful and flawless. If I ever need services in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. I definitely recommend.
