The skillet was almost perfect, the hash browns weren't fried which was disappointing (they were at the bottom of the skillet).
The ???? need some retooling as they were dry and flavourless. As well, the syrup should be changed to maple syrup (it will make a huge difference).
The staff were polite and cheerful for a Sunday morning and most importantly, not pushy. Prices are so-so: for two skillets and two freshly squeezed OJs, with tax, the bill came just under $40. Overall, a great first experience and I will come again because my breakfast was ????
Food was really good service not so much. There may have been a mix up with wait staff and they were apologetic for it. I'll definitely come back again and I recommend the Farmer Omelette topped with Sausage Gravy!
I’ve driven by this place several times over the past few years and finally went this morning for breakfast. We got there a little after 7am and it was not too busy. It started to get busy when we were leaving around a little after 8am.
There is tons of room to spread out in this restaurant and you do not feel like you are right on top of one another while you eat. They have a large menu with tons of options. I do like that they have a lot of build-your-own options for their selections. I went with the build-your-own breakfast skillet with hash browns, 3 eggs, breakfast sausage, green peppers and onions with a side of rye toast. They give you large portions for your meal and that was across the board for all our meals.
Food tasted great and service was great, as well. I’m glad that we finally made the trip here for breakfast and we will be back again soon. Enjoy!
overall, food was good, nothing to rave about though. The main problem my dad and I had was with the service. Our server was extremely kind but not attentive at all. Right after she dropped off our meal, she also left the bill at the end of our table which made us feel rushed. After that she never stopped by once, my dad eventually was able to call her over to ask for to go boxes and a refill on his coffee. He never got a refill..
Friendly staff and fresh food! Walked in first hour they opened so crew was still cleaning up but got me situated quickly. Ordered Skillet based on recommendation and it was exactly what I needed with fresh coffee! Definitely will be back!
We were expecting a different restaurant at this local. We have been to the one in Joliet and enjoyed it. This location was just as good. Very good food.
Love this place, food is great service is always great. I have gone here now several times each time is always the same quality service and food. Highly recommend
Usually don’t leave review but need to warn others about this place. Dirty coffee mug, foul smelling omelet with spoiled ham and uncooked potatoes in skillet we ordered. Would give this place a ZERO star if that was an option. Wanted to patronize a local business and went for breakfast and had terrible experience. We brought this issues to manager’s attention and left the food at the table after torturing ourself for few mins. Though we complained about food quality only 10% discount was given and was charged over $34 dollar for nasty breakfast for two. There are other good options in town and never wasting a dime on this place. Terribly slow service as well.
