Wow! Now this is what a chicken strip dinner is supposed to look like! Five stars to the Betsy Layne Dairy Bar! Good job, girls!
Best chili dogs with slaw! BLT are awesome! Deep Fried mushrooms! Yum! Staff is friendly. S must stop! Milkshakes are do thick and creamy.
We went for a milkshake and I decided to get a banana Split. Delicious!! It has an outside table (2- I believe) so if you wanna eat there it's best to prepare for outdoor seating. Also, cash only as others have mentioned. No credit cards or debit cards. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. Great place to try.
It would be fantastic if they could build on to it and make a wonderful dinning sitting place that would look like the time period when the dairy bar first was built. Old pictures of beautiful classic cars and trucks and people from that time. This locally known gem has been thriving for decades. As traveling down the highway it is briefly visible from highway 23.
They have some of the most delicious and fresh food. The foot-long chili dogs on that fresh bun are delicious, and make sure you add the coleslaw for an incredible balance of flavors that melt in your mouth.
While you're at it don't forget the milkshake. You'll regret it if you don't. ????
The best since I was alittle kid running around on dirt bikes and riding over there to get milkshakes and burgers and everything great food and great people who treat you just like family
Been eating here since mid 1960’s. Ownership has changed several times but never the quality of the service or the food!!! While all the food is great, they’ve always served the best hot dogs in eastern Ky!
I always get a hot dog and onion rings and they are delicious!! But today the rings were hard and had no taste to them!! I don't know if they were freezer burnt or what. No matter how many napkins you use the chili will fall onto your clothes bc you have to eat in your car, you cannot go in and sit to eat, that's the biggest problem. Other than that every thing is awesome!!
