We really enjoyed this hotel! We were just traveling through town, so we only stayed one night. The receptionist was very nice. You might get a couple of complimentary drink tickets for the attached bar or the restaurant. The bar/restaurant was also very nice. It's so convenient to have right there. The room was spacious and spotless. The hotel was very quiet. The shower pressure was great, too. There is laundry available, though we didn't use it. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the gym was pretty good for a hotel. Breakfast is not included, but they have a breakfast buffet, or you can order from the menu.
Service and location were great. The hotel could definitely use a good updating considering it stays so busy. The bar also had some locals in there messing with the bartender throwing trash behind the bar all night long, which made it look pretty nasty in the bar area but they claimed it was a game they always do and it was fine.
The room was clean and quiet. TV, micro, heat all worked fine. Pillows way fluffy as most hotels are. (too fluffy for me but I make do) Beds ok. They gave us a voucher for a free drink in their bar. We were in town for just one night and paid $90. Downside, room was 2 buildings away from the front desk. There was a walkway but quite a walk from our room in early am. Even that wouldn't have been a deal breaker but no complimentary breakfast. They had a $12 buffet of which not too many folks were attending. Sorry, next time we'll try one of the other nearby hotels - cheaper and at least a Continental breakfast. note: No one ever tells me what to review.
With a restaurant onsite there is no continental breakfast. You can tell the hotel is older, but they do a decent job of keeping it clean and updated. Staff was fast and efficient. I could hear others in the room next to us, and they didn't sound like they were being noisy just thin walks. The shower did have the best water pressure off any hotel I've been in. For the price it's a good deal. I've stayed at other places in the area and I would put this hotel in the middle of the bunch. They do have lots of amenities right there.
Overall this was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I've encountered. The building and rooms are dated and needs to be torn down. The rooms have paper thin walls and the hotel is two floors total. You can hear everybody slamming doors, walking, running, talking, and the TV on loud.
I've HAD to stay here for work (week on week off) and my 2nd stay here, there was a mouse in my room. I switched rooms and no more than 20 min later. There was ANOTHER mouse in my room! I had to switch rooms twice in one night and get moved to a completely different wing. They just played it off and didn't say much or offer any apologies or free room stay?
The restaurant has debatable food and I would pass on their expensive breakfast buffet.
Bathrooms get coated with heavy air freshener and it's impossible to shut the door while you use the restroom because you feel like it's a gas chamber. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are scratchy along with the sheets.
The pool, hot tub, and the whole building is unsanitary and also has a mice problem. If I could upload pictures I would to show you the two mice in my room. Unbelievable!
Very friendly front desk staff person. Stayed here twice in a week. Enjoyed the room, and the connected steak house.
The room smelled like stale cigarettes (so did the halls). I had to go to Walmart to febreeze my entire room. The carpet was stained and needed to be replaced. Access from the outside was not secure, anyone could enter. There was no key entrance.
I've stayed here a lot for work and family events. The last time pull area was dirty no towels. Had a seafood buffet was on the expensive side. Food was cold prime rib was tough and cold
