Where do I start because I never write reviews, but this needs to stop right now.This place used to be really really good when they were in the other location up on the hill now that they have moved things are very different. They have lost a lot of their quantity along with their quality of service and food. When you ask for extra pork fried rice day, usually give a tiny bit more and try to blend two large orders into one. The food is sitting out when it should be in the refrigerator and taken out when you place your order not on the counter and, allowing flies and anything that might come in on it. The ribs used to be at least in some cases 5 inches long now it is soft if you know what I mean. it is also unacceptable to make mistakes when the establishment is buzzing with customers, and the phone is ringing. That is when you were supposed to be a sharp is not allowing your revenue to get in the way of your customer satisfaction. It is for me to drive to number one Kenhorst Plaza, but I will because the food is fresh. It cost a couple more dollars more, but you will not be disappointed. The owners name is Van. He is never ever rude on the phone unlike some of the people that answer the phone here, and I’m not talking about the new guy. When they mess up your order, they do not want to give a refund and they act as if you are wrong. I had chicken wings that have been sitting out prior to me ordering them, and when I bit into the chicken wings, The bones were crumble because they have been basically out too long. I would rather wait a little longer for fresh food than to have to wait a little bit of time for terrible food. I tried to give them another chance and now I have made up my mind. I will be going to Kenhorst Plaza to number one China by the Redners out there.
Great place, but I just wish they would wear gloves and dont let the same person handle money n food with no gloves, especially. However, it's a really nice place. Also, you will see cashier prepping foods at the customer counter at times. I dont think that's ok unless again constant hand washing n gloves. I would have given 5 stars from what i saw it was clean otherwise, and food was good.
I've moved out of delaware county and have been searching for good chinese food. I found it! The food here at best china chef is the BEST. Moist and flavorful. Staff is very nice and friendly too.
Ordered from here. Food had very little flavor. My fried rice tasted sour. The general tsos chicken was disgusting. The chicken was over fried. Was extremely chewey and lacked any flavor and barely had sauce on it.
If I could rate zero I would. I have ordered 3 times for this place. Two too many! The food is always salty the female manager is rude even worse on the phone. I ordered the Peking Duck Sat 17th my 2nd $30 order from them (with no free drink no incentive to repurchase) I called to ask if they give anything for those large orders they said no. When my order arrived I ate a piece of duck shared my daughters food out and went for another piece of duck and saw feathers. I called back told the person who answered the phone that there are feathers on the duck. They passed the phone to someone else who then said they buy the duck from New York and everyone likes it. No complaints. I asked 'Do you inspect the duck before you buy it or when you receive it' I am still waiting not the answer because he started to scream into the phone that its no their fault they are a customer too and 'I dont care, I dont care, I dont care' what I am saying or the reason i am upset. A man came on the phone asked if i ate the rice I said no he hung up. I called back, asking what is going to be done, they are asking me to bring the food to them. I said I am unable to which is why I ordered delivery. They then said they will send a driver when the food is returned they will credit my card. They called back again a manager left a voicemail, I called back she took my card info to credit me and the driver collected the feather duck about 20mins later. I was not refunded the tax I paid but I guess they think I should just be happy I got a refund. My next email will be to consumer affairs and BBB.
Really good. Date of visit: September 18 2021. I was shopping at Home Depot and it was past lunchtime and I was starving. One can work up quite an appetite shopping so I gave the Chef a try because I love Chinese food. I was not disappointed at all. My take-out was fast and fresh. My Discover Card was welcomed here so all is good. Plenty of parking and the restaurant delivers.
Pretty sure the Bourbon Chicken I ordered was poisoned with either hemlock or MCHM, because it tasted like licorice. I was briefly hospitalized afterwards. It's a miracle I'm not dead. Called the place to ask for my money back and was violently chastised by the owner and did not get my money back. Will not be returning or ordering ever again and would highly advise everyone else to do the same.
I love this place went very often but after today I’m not sure about that anymore I ordered a lunch special pork fried rice and pepper steak and they put peppers and onions more than the meat and rice and this is ridiculous! And I’m very upset !
