I asked for braids like the pic on the left and got the braids on the right. The issue that I have is how she acted once I told her that I didn’t like it and it wasn’t what I asked for. She blamed me, said I should have looked in the mirror WHILE she was doing my hair AND that I should have told her to use less hair…was the pic not enough?! She offered to fix it but I didn’t have time and I chose not to go back/deal with her anymore.
Well…. My appointment was set for 10 am on a Sunday! The ladies didn’t come til about 1030! That was the only thing was their timing! I was in the shop from about 1030 til a little after 5pm! Very sweet ladies other than that! Will be returning
Very comfortable, friendly, & reliable. I called on Thursday she did my hair Friday morning it only took 5hrs for Senegalese twist braids and at my normal braid shop it takes her 8hrs to do the same style. I drove a hour & 30min to get my hair braided by them that should say alot.
They had appointments at the same time and they can’t do hair
She was vey rude and unprofessional. She act like she didn’t want to do my hair and when she was done my feed in braid s was half done. The environment was not friendly. The young girl they had in the shop kept staring at me. She was also crazy and rude. I will never go there again
Their service is amazing!!! They are hilarious and do wonderful hair!!! This is one of the best shops my girlfriend ever went to. She looked amazing for weeks. If you want your hair braided come here!!!
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT AOME BIG BRAIDS AND YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY WORTH. I went to this place because the shop I normally go to did not have any hair in stock so I decided to go here and I deep down inside regret it. My braids are soooooooooo big in the middle that it looks like I only have 10 braids in the middle. Around the edges are not really that much smaller. Then the lady that was braiding my hair used a hair clap to part my hair and it hurted like H***!!! I hate that I went here and I don't advise anybody else to go here. They charged me 190.00 for some braids that look like they should've cost 50.00.. I really love my old African shop and I will be returning and never leave them for nothing.
They were very polite and faster than other shops. I was there 5 hours for microbraids. Although they spoke in their language to each other I didn't have a problem with it at all. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the quality of the hair was not good and they are not very good with the distribution of color for braids throughout the process. They run out of a particular color and clog up one area with what is left. It was in the back of my head, but when I put it up for a bun on top, I've got a patch of blonde in the back that throws my blonde and brown colors off.
