Come for the pizza and stay for, well the pizza. Nothing to brag about with aesthetics, but gigantic puffy crust pizza (aka the Mountain Pie) is worth the trip all on its own. A Colorado staple that started in Idaho Springs and leaves nothing in the table when it comes to flavor. Oh, and don’t forget to slather your crust in honey for an awesome treat!
This place puts the RAD in Colorado. They have a very different style of pizza here called Colorado Style. Think deep dish but different. After you eat the front part of the slice, you put honey on the leftover crust and eat it. 5/5 stars quality. I recommend the Pepperoni pizza and the Pacific Rim pizza which is a variation of a Hawaiian pizza. We followed up with peach cobbler and ice cream.
As awesome as the food was, the service was even better. 6/5 stars. Our waitress was Heidi. She was so patient with us as first-timers that we called the manager over and gave him our compliments about her warm service and sparkling attitude.
In the summer, they have live music on the patio. See you there!
We travel all over the US, this had to be some of the very best pizza we’ve ever had. And our server Kristina was awesome! The honey to dip your crust in afterwards was freaking genius! If we come back to Denver we will absolutely be back.
2/18/24-I remember when this place used to be good food for a good price. Now they are super over priced for small pizzas and they don't even have the salad bar anymore. Now there are just so many other better pizza options out there. The restaurant of my college years is dead.
Wow, where to start. The staff and atmosphere is very welcoming and warming. The staff was awesome and attentive, they were the best I've had ina a while and I appreciate it. I came here to treat my brother who visited from out of town who happened to love pizza. I'd actually say he's a pizza connoisseur.
We went with the house side salads and the 2lb Mountain Pie which was enough for 4 people and was really good. My wife and I got the 1000 Islands dressing and my brother got their Homemade Ranch. The salads were very fresh; the lettuce was crispy, the tomatoes were sweet and firm, the croutons were the perfect size and had weren't as dense as others that are really dense and hard. The cucumbers were firm and fresh and the pepperoni was spicy. The blend of mozzarella cheese blended well with the salad.
Now to the pizza, we ordered the 2lb Mountain Pie, which had a larger crust that you could eat with the honey that they also serve. It's meant to be a sort of dinner and dessert kinda thing which was interesting and tasty. You had full access to the tools of pizza making with all the ingredients, sauces, and types of cheeses to bring your pizza dream to life. They also had a crushed red pepper blend that was so good I had to buy some for back home before we left.
All in all, I rate this spot a solid 5 for 5 for the atmosphere, quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff. There wasn't a pint when I wondered where my server was and I never ran out of my drink.

1st visit:
When we first went in, I went straight to the restroom... it was so clean (which makes me feel good about my choice of places to eat). I've always thought if the restrooms are dirty.. what does the kitchen look like!
The staff was helpful and friendly.
The food was amazing! I don't eat dairy. My pizza was awesome without it!
We had 8 ppl with an assortment of food, and no one had any complaints.
Order the fire cracker pizza if you like it hot! It was loaded with toppings.
2nd visit:
We ordered carry out for Mother's Day. I ordered the same pizza because it was so good last time. I was so disappointed when I opened the box. I could see the bottom crust through three toppings!! I'm not sure which pizza is the one Beau Jo's normally sends out to customers, but I'm not sure I want to go spend more money on the chance of getting the same pizza as my 2nd visit!
I've never tried Colorado style pizza before but their pizzas were really good! Would love to try them out again if I ever come back here in the future.
This place is the best!! Amazing pizza, our favorite is the hipster. Add on the honey and boulder pepper and you're good to go! Their apps are also great, mushrooms are fantastic, as is the hearty arty. Honestly we've never had a meal here we didn't enjoy.
But what's really great is the service. We've been a number of times and the servers are all pretty great, however, the manager is INCREDIBLE. He's so awesome and really supports his employees too.
We love coming for happy hour, but happy to pay full price for the amazing food and wonderful service we've always received. Come support local ❤️
