Vinnie has cut my hair for years when I was closer to Beacon. Then I moved further away, so I was so excited to hear he moved to Hyde Park, which is less than 10 minutes away. He does an excellent job of cutting hair. You won’t be disappointed.
I moved to Beacon not to long ago and was searching for a barber, and a friend recommended Vinnie at the Beacon Barber Shop. I finally went on Friday and damn, am I glad I did. First off you have to make an appointment, which I did. When I got in I was greeted by Vinnie. Who asked me how I wanted my hair cut and my beard trimmed. I explained and Vinnie went to work. Vinnie took care of business, and let me tell you, this fella is amazing. He has been in business at the same location for 28 years and holy cow ???? did it show. He takes his time, does what you want and wants to be sure that you are happy when you leave his shop. That my friends is how it's done. Vinnie is a barber from a time where you, the customer matter more than the price you are paying. This is my new place to go for as long as this man stays in business. It is so hard to find a barber with the type of customer service that Vinnie offers. His prices are on par with everyone else and again the job he does is amazing. I highly recommend if you need a haircut or a beard trim.
I'm never disappointed in Vinny's cuts. Come in with an image of you have one or just use some good descriptions to tell him how you like your hair cut and he's got it done. The business has changed a bit now, so you need to call ahead of time but the appointments are easy to get.
We had an amazing experience. My boys haircuts were perfect. The place is so clean and everyone is very friendly. We already booked there next cut.
Vinny cuts fantastic hair does what you want and goes above and beyond. The shop is very clean and neat and well-kept. If you want a top-notch haircut go see Vinny . I highly recommend this barber shop. A+A++ .
I have been going to Vinny's place for a few years now. I grew up in Beacon and it took me a long time to find his shop, but now that I did, he is the best barber I've ever had.
I moved to NYC about 4 years ago and still try to get my haircut with him when I visit family. His professionalism and skill are unmatched, and this is proven by the amount of people that are waiting for a cut.
A normal cut is $15. He is an exceptional barber and great to talk to. You can't beat it.
I received an outstanding haircut here, and I would like to make another appointment, but the phone mailbox is full and I can’t leave a message. Only one customer is allowed at a time due to Covid, so I’ll just have to go over and slip a note under the door! Looking forward to my next haircut here soon!
Don't know what these two negative reviews are about, been going there for two years and never had a problem. I tell him (Vinny the barber) what I want and I get it (regular cut), no complaints. Everyone coming out of the chair seems satisfied with the cut and the price!!! ($14).
