A local establishment that has a laid back vibe and good affordable food. Nothing fancy, they just know how to deliver on affordable seafood and local fare.
Great place for affordable crabs! Crab cake, crabs to pick, and crab dip are all great choices, without breaking the bank. Their classic American food is a great choice for picky eaters.
Cocktails are a good choice here, along with their drafts.
First, the service was amazing! One person was working the front and they seemed to be everywhere they were needed. The atmosphere was good and the crab dip was the best I've ever had. I thought I'd find my favorite, but they were easily dethroned. Truly worth going for.
Now the not great. We both got the country fried steak special. It was just ok and a little over cooked. Not bad, mind you, but just ok. In my wife's words, "next time we just get two orders of crab dip, fries and extra bread."
Best local dive bar to get fresh crabs. Always the best people too. Have been coming here for over a decade
Best Crabs Ever! Today, we had a dozen of the biggest, heaviest, most delicious crabs we ever had! We ate till we were full and took home huge claws and picked crabmeat. Katlyn took excellent care of us! Will definitely be back (it’s been our go-to place for crabs for years).
This is a great place to stop in and get some really good food. We stopped in here actually because another restaurant in the area was closed for the day, but we weren't disappointed. The service was great, we got to pick our seats (which is something I personally like) and the food/drinks were great.
We had the MD crab dip, French Dip, Calamari and a Cuban sandwich (all pictured).
I'm also adding pictures of the menu because I didn't see any in the google pictures already posted. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area and want something to eat!
Best crabs in Maryland when local crabs are in season! Louisiana crabs are good but there not MD crabs. There good for off season if you want crabs! The prime rib is good as well if you don't want seafood.
Went here to get some crabs. First as we walking in a waitress says, you can sit anywhere you want. We find a place to sit. Then the waitress comes over and says, can I start you off with something to drink. We both order ginger ale. Then proceed to place order for crabs. We both take drinks out of our ginger ale. Then I happen to look at my friends drink and see something black floating in it. I pick the cup up and see that it is a bug in it. I take the cup and remove it from her because she has a weak stomach. When I go tell the waitress what I find she proceeds to pick up another cup to give her a new drink. Then she apologized and says they have a net problem. I told her we are going to leave. She got upset and said "for real". I said "Yes". So ma'am, you want us to eat food with possibility of bugs in it??? No, we gone. They need to do a real good cleaning to this establishment. Especially the walls.. We proceeded to go to Mike's.
Came here for the first time for a birthday celebration and can't see going anywhere else for crabs. As a novice crab cracker, the staff really set you up with everything you need for a seamless experience and clear throughout your meal so you don't get too messy. The crab was flavorful and succulent and the price was just great for how much food we got. Our watress even went the extra mile and made the birthday Sundae for my friends dad herself. Great selection of other menu items as well. Super yummy corn fritter! I can see why this place has been around so long as a local favorite. Will totally be coming back????????
