Barry and his wife worked very hard to get my car up and running after completing body work, and other major repairs. I trusted them every step of the way. They do excellent work and I have worked them for more than 10 years. I highly recommend their service over other car dealerships for service and repairs.

This place is awful!!! I took my 2011 Mercedes Benz there for only a oil change and when I went to pick my Mercedes up my air suspension had my car leaning to one side. When I took my car up there nothing was wrong. I only needed an oil change!! If something is wrong with your car you should look to another place and not with them.
In response to Barry’s Motor Works about the pricing when I called. Your company mentioned that I also needed air filters. I requested a discount and it was stated that you would call me back, which I did not receive that callback. Therefore, if you noticed my car was leaking why wasn’t I informed of this when you performed the oil change as you mentioned in your statement. I hardly drive my car because it’s a luxury car and I own other vehicles. My Mercedes have never needed any major work nor treated with such abuse for a basic work service. I should have read the reviews before using your services I see they have experience the same treatment I did. I believe dishonesty and greed is playing a role here. It seems your business is in need of some integrity. Also, they have a Vicious Pit Bull Dog running around the place unleash!!!! Very Dangerous!!
I am very disappointed at the level of service received from Barry Motor Works. From the very beginning, it’s been a hectic situation working with this repair shop. My initial visit was because my car was making squeaky noises. I was first told by the owner (Barry) that I needed ball joints for $526 days oral repair costs (quoted $526). After renting a car and leaving my car with Barry Motor Works, I called on the morning of the second day (car had not been touched)to check the status and that is when the manager Jay advised that it was not the ball joints I needed, the control arms needed to be replaced (price jump from$526 to $969). Although I questioned this change, and it would be over $900, I obliged because I needed my car fixed properly . That Friday morning I was there when Barry’s wife finally opened the shop at 9:15am (late). They at first could not find my key….at that point I had a sick feeling in my stomach. When they finally pulled my car around. It sounded worse than when I dropped it off. They said “oh you need front brakes and rotors”. That is the sound you are hearing. I got a mile down the street and pulled over because the sounds were so bad. I was afraid to drive it. I called the shop back twice and no one answered.
I ended up taking my car elsewhere, and had to pay an additional $700 to have the ball joints replaced. The new mechanic located loose screws, which could have become a fatal accident. I followed up with Barry Motor Works and spoke with the manager (Jay) @ Barry Motor Works who advised that they replaced my ball joints as they are part of the control arms. There is no way.
My car is now working in great condition with no squeaks after $1700 for a job that should’ve been done correctly the first time. I will never patronize this business again. They take advantage of consumers, and this is not how business should be done. I have attempted to give them the opportunity to make the situation right, but the manager Jay was very stern with me on the phone, and did not want to hear anything I had to say. I asked that Jay have Barry or his wife please give me a call and that has not happened.
Please please do not waste your time or money with this repair shop. There are much better repair shops in the area that will value you as a customer and not try to get over on you.
I had a fantastic experience at this shop. Had the privilege of meeting the owner (Barry) when I first arrived. I explained my issue and he immediately took my truck for a test drive to confirm the suspected issue. Once confirmed I left and purchased the part (hydraulic booster). When I returned the truck was repaired in UNDER 45 mins. INCREDIBLE! The technicians and staff are ALL courteous, professional and seem to really enjoy working there. Call me crazy but the simple things like offering a cup of coffee to customers goes a looooong way. EVERYONE said food morning, smiled and honestly had great energy. I'm always hesitant to go to a new shop because I feel they will take advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge and charge me out the wazoo...NOT HERE! Barry spoke to me like a PERSON and used laymen terms to explain the issue in detail. I highly recommend them and will return for future needs. I was extremely IMPRESSED! GREAT JOB GUYS!
Barry’s Motor Works in Mableton GA. removed and installed a new engine in my 2014 BMW 750li. Jay was extremely knowledgeable, professional and honest to work with. They provided an initial quote and upon receiving the replacement engine determined it was also damaged. They worked with BMW Motors to obtain a brand new replacement engine and install it for the same price as the initial quote.Barry’s was extremely informative and completed the repairs on schedule. I highly recommend this business and although I transported my car from Jackson MS. to Atlanta GA. I would not hesitate to use then again. Thanks again Barry and Jay for your technical expertise, professionalism and commitment to providing exceptional service. Bruce

You just hit the jack pot. If you need your car service or repaired, this is the place. I've been bringing my vehicle here for several years and I get top notch service, honesty, and fair prices. If you're tired of being over charged, dissatisfied, and unsure about that the work being done then you should most definitely take your car to Barry's Motor Works. The staff is exceptional. I just love Justin he is a hard-working young man and he knows what he is doing. The owner Barry is an awesome business owner and mechanic. I believe he could fix a space ship if someone brought it to him. I can't say enough about this business and trust me it's all true. If you want good quality service with no worries you have to bring your vehicle here. The best shop in town hands down. Keep up the awesome job you guys! If I could give them 10 ???? stars I would.
Best people in the business came in there with major car issues and they treat me like family they are my go to highly recommend and respect berry and his wife are amazing people they helped me more than I could’ve have imagined and I’m super grateful
