Addis is a pro. Kept my car on the road with minimal downtime.
The caR need more maintenance and some other items that need attention when time allows. I intended on continuing working with Barrington motors and Addis.
I specifically went in for what I thought was an alternator as I thought the battery tested fine. Turns out it was a bad battery. No need for an alternator definitely saved me some money. So I parlayed those funds into replacing my radiator which was on its last leg. Barrington motors got it done.
2004 Volkswagen R32
I have a 2003 BMW 325i, and recently she seemed to have engine vibration issues, the belt was beginning to make noise, and had been leaking oil for the past few years. Barrington Motors has always been one of my go to places, and I got to say, Adis and his team really did a great job this time around. When I picked up my BMW yesterday, she was smooth, steady, and literally felt like a whole different car. (would say new, but she is going on 20)
The repair shop can be easy to miss, so do make sure to google it. And what I like about Adis is he's always professional, straightforward with you, quotes a fair price, and will do a solid job. If you have a bimmer, new or old, I highly recommend you check them out. They've done a great job on repairs for me every time.
This is how you should conduct business. Been with them many years, the fairest prices, reliable, trustworthy, and worth driving however far to get your car done here. Every time I need something for my Audi, I come here. 5/5 in all aspects
As a small business owner I can appreciate service above and beyond expectation. Adis is the quintessential proud business owner who takes it upon himself to make sure that every customer is treated with honesty and respect, sometimes hard to find in the auto service industry. I came in for what I hoped was an easy fix and he shared the bad news with compassion. The same job that he quoted at $1,600 was estimated to be over $2,800 at a Local VW dealership. And since he needed my car overnight he was nice enough to personally drive me home. If there’s a better, more honest and fair auto service business owner out there, I haven’t come across them. I brought in my beetle to diagnose a clicking/road noise in the front right wheel well. I told the mechanic that I think it may be related to a bad wheel bearing and that he may find something different. Drop it off in the morning and then I get a call in the afternoon that the wheel bearing was replaced. Thought it was odd that he never did confirm the issue and just repaired without my full consent, however I was optimistic.
I arrive, pay for the services and get back on the road. Sure enough, the noise was still there. He never diagnosed the issue and just made the repair blindly. Would not recommend.
I brought my 2010 VW Tiguan. The car was hesitant, bad idle, and rough driving. After 2 hours they called me with the problems and the car was ready to go the next day morning. It's driving like a champ. I would recommend it to anyone! They're the best! Thank you!
Adis and Levon are awesome. Friendly, honest, experts on VW, BMW, etc. No cute office, no Men's Journal in the lobby (in fact, no lobby), a true garage. I wouldn't take my VW anywhere else.
