Was so happy to run up on a Bar Louie! This hit the spot. I love their boneless wings and as in previous posts, I love ❤️ tater tots. The chicken nachos were very good too. My enjoyed 2 of those lemon drop martinis ???? so I suspect that they were good too.
I thought Bar Louie atmosphere was nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Very spacious place. Customer service was not good. No one there communicates effectively. Our food was cooked fresh and came out hot but it wasn't that great on flavor. The drinks were decent. Our server was new and didn't know how to use the card reader machine. Somehow she charged my sister's card twice with my payment and hers. Took them 30mins to figure that out. We asked for an accommodation but the manager who never came to our table to help our server or just Apologize for the uncorrected mistake said no. It's connected to the Holiday Inn. We we're visiting he for a funeral. This was our first stop I regretted it.
Was in the area so came here to catch the NFL Thursday night football game and walked into a loud bar, playing some good music, though, from a Chicago radio station. Found out there was a Ladies Night event, and an up-and-coming R&B artist from the Chicagoland area performed a few songs close to closing time. As you may/may not know, Bar Louie experiences at other locations have slow service. Surprisingly, in the beginning, it was pretty good, bartenders attentive, but as the night went on, of course, service was slow. Pictured and ordered here are their Sliders with a side of fries which were tasty. Not sure if I'd come back but Bar Louie locations, usually attached to a Holiday Inn hotel, are usually a nice, laid-back time.
This restaurant is located on the first floor of a holiday inn. It was a Sunday late afternoon when I visited. Tried to watched nfl football but two things happened. First was the tv's aren't in HD and a salsa class started. The French Onion Soup could be skipped and should. The chicken wings were ok, garlic parmesan sauce was way too salty. The food was priced ok, paid with cash and the bartender didn't have change so I let him keep the change. However, 18% gratuity was already added to bill so was pissed about that.
Friendly spot. Connected to a Holiday Inn. You’ll have a diverse crowd. Locals and Travelers. Staff as friendly as your neighborhood bar. Food just a friendly and good. My only suggestion would be maybe a deep clean of the bar. If you’re on the bar stools you’ll get a strong odor of bleach-water. I fully understand and appreciate the use of bleach, but it’s not controlling the bar flies / gnats. This won’t keep me away from the good food and good servers, but it might others.
One suggestion for troublesome gnats is simply take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, a few drops of dish soap, 1 liter of water, and put it in a container. Mix it well and place the container in the location you notice the most gnats. They are attracted by the vinegar but die after touching the soap.

Calamari wasn’t great. Boneless wings were pretty small.
The steak sandwich was tasty.
The chicken Parmesan sandwich looked amazing too.
Bar Louie exceeded all my expectations with its exceptional staff, impeccable drinks, delicious food, and inviting patio. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a lively gathering with friends, this is the place to be. I can't wait to visit again soon!
Went here to have a drink on a Saturday night. There were two birthday parties. Good vibes, good food, some drinks okay, slot machines . Definitely a must if your staying at the hotel.
Ordered hot wings , loaded fries, pitcher of pineapple sangria , hellacious mango margarita ???????? this drink was spicy and hot I didn’t like at all.
I recommend this place!
