Always good service and knowledgeable mechanics.
Have used this shop for both emergency and scheduled appointments and have always found them to be responsive, reliable, and accommodating. Took my car in for a scheduled inspection, though the shop was packed I was still in and out in 20 minutes. Cannot ask for better!
We have been patrons of Barken for decades and I refer them to everyone I know. Honest, kind, hard-working, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. All of the mechanics are top-notch and highly experienced. I have often marveled at their professionalism because they are a garage where you may drop off your car in the morning and be virtually certain that it will be done by the end of the day and done well. You can also stop by and ask them to take a moment to check something for you and they unbegrudgingly stop what they're doing and give a cheerful moment of their time. They truly value the relationships they build with their customers. Car repairs are expensive everywhere, and it's rare to have mechanics who appreciate that and do their best to get your work done well and in good time.
Not a regular customer, but had a little car trouble while on the road. Had passed by this place, turned around and they helped me right away, didn't have to wait. Not many places where the folks are that helpful these days. Thank you guys at Bar-Ken, really grateful for your service.

Here's the repair shop I've always sought out. These guys are fast, reliable, and HONEST. When another garage told me I needed something I was skeptical about, I took it here and they were clear about what I actually needed (much less expensive repair). Can't say enough good things.
Very accomodating and friendly. One down side is they charge a 4 percent premium (they call normal rates discounted) for using credit card. Not sure that is even legal for a state vehilcle inspection.
This shop was incredibly helpful, quick, and accommodating. They were kindly able to fit me in twice in one day which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely return and recommend to others
