Upscale casual bar. Craft cocktails were outstanding. Not to be outdone by the food. She had a chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. I had the Philly sandwich. Bread had a hard time holding in the meat, cheese and veggies. Lava cake dessert was outstanding.
Had about a 5 minute wait on a Saturday at roughly 6:30. Great experience, and our server McKenzie was awesome! Wouldn't hesitate to go here.
Nice open venue. Big bar area and always like establishments that have the offset bars that come off the main bar. Not a very big tap selection, more in cans and bottles, but lots of spirits. Alot of TV's with many different sports on. We had the Thai Chicken wraps and deep fried pickles ( more cucumber than pickle flavored) but both were good and the pickles did seem like they were in house breaded. Tap beers were $8 each just as info, and wifey did enjoy the Bloody Mary.
The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. I love that you can see the kitchen. Everything feels so clean and perfect here. The Thai lettuce wraps were to die for! Highly recommend.
Service was quick and attentive! I had the Smash Burger and my wife had the Cobb salad. My burger was ok but I thought the fries were amazing. The Cobb salad was over priced for what she received. Ordered a Dt. Dew and it was flat or something was off about it. Server was quick to replace, but it still was off somehow. She didn't charge us for it.
Would stop here again.
Food was very, very good. My only issue with it is I thought the portions were a little on the small side, at least my burger was. It was good but after trying the curd burger I wish I had gotten that one. Service was pretty good and the atmosphere was about average. I feel like it took a little long for our food but nothing crazy. I would probably eat here again, pretty good place.
If you want mediocre food for exorbitant prices this is the place for you. I have never had issues with the service or the atmosphere. It’s a beautiful place but the food is just not quality for the cost. I have been burnt by this place so many times over and over I’m done. 10/10 bad food experiences causes me to write my first ever bad review. Don’t order a $17 chicken sandwich unless you’re ready for a chicken strip/boneless wing sandwich. 209 used to be the place to go for good deals and drinks. I can name a few Other places in bemidji where you pay less and get 10x the food quality. Bridget’s, Fozzies, Tera Thai, speak easy, keg and cork, wasabi, heck even Applebee's has better value for what you get and that’s saying something….
Awesome local restaurant. Over two meals, my son and I had two great experiences. We tried two of the mac and cheese dishes and a burger. I had a local Bemidji Being Red X ale that I totally enjoyed. The service was very friendly and attentive.
Mac and cheese needed some more flavor. It looks better than it tastes. Everything else was ok. The pretzel and cheese was delicious!
