This place is pretty mediocre.????‍????
Food was okay, not worth $17 for bun bo you can get at Nam Phoung down the road. There's no vegetarian option as advertised, don't bring Indian friends here. There's also a slight language barrier even when speaking Vietnamese, this place disappoints. The ambience is ok for hanging out... Until they decide to blast Viet pop. Save your money and go to Food Terminal next door.
Bamee Tee: A Vietnamese Culinary Treasure in Atlanta
My visit to Bamee Tee revealed a delightful Vietnamese haven in Atlanta, known not just for its exquisite milk teas and refreshing fruit drinks but also for a menu brimming with authentic flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The space marries modern design with comfort, making it perfect for any dining occasion.
The food was a revelation of authenticity and quality. Highlights included the richly flavored Bun bo hue and the aromatic bun mam, but the family-style dinner truly captivated me, offering a taste of Vietnam's heart.
The drinks, from vibrant fruit beverages to exceptional milk teas, perfectly complemented the meal, enhancing the overall experience. Bamee Tee offered an authentic Vietnamese journey, marked by their exceptional service, making it more than just a meal but a memorable culinary adventure in Atlanta.
Came in today with my family to tried their foods here. They are not traditional taste, the beef meats are hard, pork feet still have bones, they put too much salt to me. Reception did not give you feel welcomed when you walk in without any smile or hello, how may I help you,....
The food here is great but can take some time if it's at all busy. Their iced drinks are awesome. The place has a cool vibe but bathrooms weren't the best and tables were out of napkins.
Nicely decorated inside. It’s like a little cafe place. I haven’t had the chance to try their banh mi since I saw that they served my favorite dish “ Bun Dau Mam Tom” -vermicelli with deep fried tofu, some veggies and shrimp paste sauce. Generous amount of 2 different types of tofu. Came on a Sunday so it was packed, took a longer for food to come out and to have a table. But it was worth the wait for me. I also got their pudding dessert “che khuc bach”. First time trying it ever. It’s like a cubed matcha pudding and almond pudding that’s served with ice and almonds, a sweet dessert. Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu soon.
The food here is above all excellent. Eating one spoon of soup I feel craving for the second spoon, eating the second spoon I feel nostalgic for my homeland Vietnam, eating the third spoon I want to go to work here so I can eat the restaurant's food continuously. There are two types of noodle bowls here: regular bowls and stone bowls. When you eat the bowl of stone, the soup will be very boiling and hot ???? It is very delicious and has a strong traditional flavor. I am very happy to be able to enjoy such a delicious bowl of beef noodle soup here ( Bun Bo Hue ) . The topping comes with rich portion of meat and an addition Chả Huế. Which makes me feel that this shop has more character than others. This place will be the only place I come for Bun Bo now. Oh I forgot the employees are so friendly and professional too!!! This place broke my scale of 10 for real
I came here a few years ago and came back today at 3pm. Both of the times, the waiting time was ridiculously long. It was definitely not a busy time. We ordered 6 banh mi to go and waited 25 minutes to get them. Nothing special about the taste of the banh mi. They finished our order and just put the bag on the counter behind their cashier and said nothing, just left (we cannot reach for the bag because it was behind their decoration/shelves etc.) Another employee gave the bag to us when we asked if our order was ready. Tables were not cleaned after customers had left. The only good thing about this place is the buy 5 get 1 free. Wish they were faster and interacted more with customer. With so many places offering banh mi (which only take a few minutes to be ready), we would not come back.
Although I love the taste of Bun Bo Hue here the most in Atlanta and they will have more and more clients in the future, I extremely hate the waiting time for the food coming. I don’t know how hard they cook or prepare the food before bringing to the customers, it often takes 30mins to be served. Additionally, I don’t like the way they service not in the order of come 1st- serve 1st without any explanations why they did that, making everybody get mad badly. In short, I just feel like there is no professional skills or attitude from the staff. I like to be back but afraid of the waiting time and how bad their services are
