One of the best Chinese restaurants, was very confused about the price since they have long menu. They updated the price and placed old and same menu together.
However, the food was very fresh. I will definitely visit again.
We always look for local when traveling. To be brutally honest, the crab ragoon was mediocre at best and the rest was unedible. General's Chicken was obviously frozen chicken and some type of extremely salty beef bouillon sauce. The (fried rice?) was old and bland. We left the uneaten food.
Always easy to order and quickly made. Great Food for a Small Town Restaurant.
When I want Chinese, this is the restraunt I think about. The best lemon chicken in Iowa. Don't mess around with the places in the city. This is where the best Chinese is at!

This place has great food and great service! I ordered the Pineapple Chicken with fried rice and an egg roll, and it was quite filling. It also appears to be a local favorite, as the host took numerous to-go orders in-person and on the phone. (She did an excellent job multitasking!) The lobby was quite full with guests as well! I look forward to stopping by here the next time I’m in Onawa.
So I’ve tried callling this location 3 times about 40 minutes before they close and everytime there’s no answer
