I have been here to pick up pies many times, late night, right before or at closing time.
Dew is always welcoming and patient. She has such a great personality and is genuinely good to everyone she takes care of. She is a perfect example of what someone who works with the public should be like. There's no doubt in my mind that she will always be successful in any job or industry, but I sure am glad that she's right here at my local Bakers Square. Thanks Dew.
Enjoyed cobb salad for lunch, we got the Valentine's Special which came with 2 slices of pie????
Came here with my kids for Valentine's day. Service was exceptional from the very beginning. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. They sat us at a table right away. Immediately our waiter , Elias came to greet us and see if we were ready to order. The food came out amazing and we didn't have to wait long. Which, the restaurant was busy during this time because it was Valentine's Day. We were constantly being checked on by Elias to ensure we had everything we needed. Shout out to Jose the General manager! He was so nice which, speaks volumes and is the reason why the establishment is ran so well. Its very refreshing to come across a place like this. Will definitely be going back and recommend anyone in the area to give it a try you won't regret it.
I order frequently and usually have a great experience. However the last few times I've gotten my regular order of pot roast it has Been inedible half the time. Either its ALL grease and no actual tender meat, or tastes bad. Not sure if there is a new cook but I'm sad to see that it's a risk to order a dish I love that most other places don't have. However with the price of delivery alone I can't justify ordering if I'm unsure if I'll get an edible meal :( also sad French apple pie seems to have been removed from both door dash and uber. I hope it's still offered at Bakers Square.
The servers are phenomenal! But there were only 3 servers on Free Pie Wednesday. The wait is not long. The servers are very nice and deserve recognition for their hard work and efficiency despite only 3 serving.
We got the chopped steak meal, and it was pretty good. Not as much fries as we usually have and the fries were crunchy as though they were put in the oven more than once. The chopped steak is more like a meatloaf.
The first time I came here I was craving breakfast and was excited about the $9.99 Four item breakfast! Great deal! This was my 2nd time and the Turkey Dinner was delicious. I was hungry enough to eat most of my Pecan pie, which was perfectly flavored! See you soon!
Recently discovered that this location is still open in the Chicago area, so we stopped in for pie ... which was not good. I'm not sure how long those pies had been in the walk-in fridge, but the whipped cream around the edge was pretty dried out, and the pie fillings were basically flat - maybe an inch thick, instead of the 2-inch-thick fluffy fresh pies of the late 2010s. Alas.
Service was super friendly and efficient, at least!
Went this evening with my husband and omg the worse experience ever. First the ladies restroom was filthy to the point I couldn’t even use it. I literally had to use the mens bathroom which wasn’t anything amazing either. The young lady in the front was cutting bananas for pies all in the open. Which is so unsanitary. While waiting for our food I noticed something from the corner of my eye. What did I see? A mouse. Literally the mouse came back out from hiding and both my husband and I seen it!!! We got up said no we are good we won’t be eating here and left. If the front of the house is run down I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. So sad how bad it’s gotten. The only good thing was our server who was so nice.
