I've only been to three Bahama Breeze, and so far, if you've been to one, you've been to them all. The food was good, and our waitress was great. There's not much more to say.
I went to Bahama breeze to watch Young lion perform, a rising reggae artist from here in Virginia Beach. The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean. The staff is so nice. I always have a fun time when I come here. Bahama breeze has summer concerts All throughout. And it just kept off a great experience at a great restaurant with great music playing. That is the trifecta, so I suggest next time you’re looking for an evening out towards Bahama breeze get some dinner check out a concert you will not regret it.
11/9/23 - I have been here 3 times now. It always pretty packed for dinner but you can reserve a head. I recently went and got the tequila salmon. It was pretty delicious. They have really fun drinks here too. One of their margaritas that comes in the pineapple seems to be a favorite. I got another drink but forgot was it was called. Service was nice as well. They also have a special menu for vegan you just have to ask for it.
Went here for dinner last night. It has been a couple years since we have been here. Our waitress was very nice. Her name was Kia. (Not sure if that’s spelled correctly)
Husband had the fresh sushi Tuna stack, he loved it. We also shared the spinach artichoke dip. It was very hot and had a great flavor. The chips were also very fresh.
Entrees we had the Jamaican jerk pasta and seafood paella. Flavor was great on both of them. We will be back.
Only downside was people sitting behind us were a lil drunk and screaming half of the time. And there was trash all under the tables and on the carpet everywhere from previous tables.
We will definitely go back.
Great place with good food! I've dined here multiple times and absolutely love the food and atmosphere. I came here last week and had a great experience. The staff there were very friendly and welcoming and I was seated immediately. I decided to try something different so I ordered the jerk shrimp pasta with Cuban bread. It was so good and the portion sizes was generous!! I could only eat half and took the rest of it home with me! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The flavors were on point and it had a little spice to it. I used the Cuban bread to dip in the sauce from the pasta and that was good! I was too full for dessert but I did order the king carnival drink and it was amazing! I love the atmosphere and the music here as well. I came just in time because there was a DJ that came and played great, soothing music. I'd highly recommend this place!
I died here again and just tried to try one of the pineapple bowls. The one that I decided to get was the jerk shrimp pineapple bowl. It was okay, the only issue I had was that it was extremely sweet. I think there should have been a better balance of sweetness, saltiness and spiciness. The sweetness was a bit much to bear. The portion size is great though!
Excellent service! I had the buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes and black bean & corn salsa. My food was delicious. Empanadas were filled with flavor and beefy . The atmosphere was nice and the music put me in an island like zone. Dragon fruit margarita was refreshing and light.
My family and I ate here in 2/23/24 and our server was Izzy and it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had. We waited for a sweet tea for 25 minutes, the rice wasn’t cooked and 3 of us order the same salmon dish and all of our orders were wrong so it had to be taken back to the kitchen. Another person in our part sent their food back for being undercooked and it didn’t come out until we were just over it and wanted to leave. The manager finally came over and was like if you have room for despite on me. Like how are you the manager and you don’t realize your server is overwhelmed, and the kitchen is backed up/ messing up on orders. It was a mess.
Last night I ate dinner here and it was to my surprise, a very good idea. I did not know what to expect as it was my first time. The food was 10/10!! Very tasty and flavorful. My server Leighanne absolutely made my experience over the top. She is a GREAT server. I seen her tending to multiple tables and large parties and still she was able to take care of us and give us everything we needed. We never had to ask for refills, napkins, etc. I will be back!!
