I picked up a to go order tonight and omg, it was SO. GOOD. I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner as it’s so close to me. I got the Priority 4 salad with crispy chicken and fries and I honestly don’t think I’ve had a better salad. Everything was so fresh and the chicken was delicious. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and it was a great atmosphere inside! I never write reviews but feel like people need to know how good this place is! If you’re in the area and haven’t tried it you’re missing out!
We took our family here for a bday dinner. They took the reservation a few days in advance since we had a large table, and when we arrived we were sat almost immediately. Although it is a small place, it made a big impression on us. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the salad (so big and it was soooo good!), everyone else had pizzas and one had a burger, all pictured. The service had us never wanting for a thing. We all left there smiling and laughing with full full bellies. Don’t pass this one by!

So happy to see someone trying out a new place for a bar & grill in this town. This place is awesome.
The atmosphere is well curated with a black and wood theme through the entire place from the comfy chairs, to the silverware, to even the bathrooms!
While they are still in their “soft open” phase they have a limited menu but you would never even know it because there is a variety of sandwich choices, appetizers, and pizza!
I had the pizza which has a sourdough crust and let me say, I am a believer. It is crunchy with a soft inside. The cheese is clearly high quality and it does not get any better than house made ranch.
The beer selection has a ver good range to choose from and such great pricing.
Overall, I cannot wait to see how this place evolves and grows as it gets more comfortable; I will definitely be back quite often to support.
We met our best friends at the new restaurant in Bonsall. It was our first time at Backdraft and I guarantee it won’t be our last! Good food, drinks and service plus plenty of parking! We had sandwiches and burgers to eat as well as beers to drink.
The food is amazing. We try something new each time we go in. You will not be disappointed. Rotating beers and great wine selection.
Great new bar. Ringers is across the parking lot and this place is far superior. Great vibes. Nice and welcoming staff. Good selection of beer taps. I had the wings and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and heat of the buffalo sauce. They have a few tvs for games and played music off of one near the bar. Great spot. I am definitely a fan.
We had a slight hiccup at ordering, but Chris jumped it and got in squared away!!

We have now been here a few times and here is my take on it. Sometimes the service is good and sometimes it has been totally off. Bar service is much better than table service here. As for the food the sandwiches are impressive but the rest of the menu is average. A lot of folks brag about the pizza so we tried that. It was ok but not at all what I expected. Greasy on top and the thin crust choice was not crispy. Seems weird but the pizzas come out perfectly round with the toppings spread so perfect that it looks like it came out of a machine. The wine by the glass prices are up there with a limited choice. Two people each having two glasses of wine each with a pizza will set you back close to $70.
I really want to see this place do well as there are not a lot of great choices in the area. A good happy hour would help and also hire a seasoned manager to get some things in order. Right now, not in any rush to go back.
