Absolutely delicious!!! Me and my wife got a plate each since it was our first visit. We could have easily split one plate and had enough. The pot roast was tender and easy to eat with a fork, like it was cooked all day in a crockpot, not dried out and tough like some places will serve you. Next time I will try a lighter lunch fare, but this time we will have leftovers for supper.
Does not look like much from the road, but MAN that food is good. Friendly staff, great prices; (especially for the portions), and some of the best fried chicken I have had. Will definitely swing by here again next time I'm in town.
Stopped in after camping at Reed Bingham State Park heading south - the owner was very nice and helpful, ordered chicken and cheesy grits. Waited 7 min for the chicken which was fine we sat on the porch and relaxed - 2 huge chicken breasts piping hot and nice helping of creamy delicious cheesy grits. Thank you it was wonderful and comforting as we traveled onward. Owner is a grandma raising grandkids, local business owner - let’s support her. Thanks again!
I have been to B&T Soul Food a couple of times, this lady is a (one man show) she does it all and her cooking is amazing! She is kind and her prices are great. I’d definitely recommend this place to others:)

My boyfriend and I eat here as a treat,it's that good.we go by every day but don't allow ourselves that treat until pay day.Great food,wonderful service.Home cooked food served hot and fresh just as fast as any fast food place.ive seen many food places at this location over my 50 yrs of residency in adel,none as good or lasted as long as this one.Hope they are around for a very long time
If you’re traveling on I-75 and want a quick home cooked meal, this is where you should stop. We had a super yummy breakfast
This place is at least 6★ - after I took off 1 star because I found the baked beans little too sweet (for me).
Total gem of a stop! I called ahead because they are listed to close at 2 and the lady (Bridget) said she would stay open a bit longer as there were still things available. We had the most wonderful quail dinner (+ pork chop and chicken dinner) and sampled many sides. Collards, green beans and chitlins & rice were excellent.
So glad we stopped!!
