I don't have a reason that it took so long for me to try this place, but I'm sad that I didn't do it sooner! Holy wow, this food is amazing. I have not had anything from this establishment that I've wished was different in any way. Pictured is the oxtails and rice with macaroni, cabbage, and a huge piece of cornbread that comes with your meal (or should I say 2 meals, because your stomach isn't big enough to eat this in one go!).

There is no inside dining, but there are a few tables out front for you to sit and eat if you don't want to take it home. The staff is always extremely friendly when I order, and they make sure you're happy before you walk out the door!

You will not be disappointed!

My mother and I were looking for southern food, more specifically BBQ, on our mini road trip into Georgia. We nearly gave up when a guy in the gas station told us about B-Stro. We tried out the family-owned souther food joint. It was fantastic! You can tell they put their heart in their cooking. You can't find this kind of cooking in a chain restaurant. I can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work!

Don’t walk here, run and run fast it’s that delicious. The food is true home cooking like your mom and grandma made.

I ordered the smothered chicken with white rice, green beans and macaroni and cheese. The green beans were cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. The Mac and Cheese was better than mine- so creamy and cheesy. The smothered chicken was tender and the gravy was phenomenal. Even the rice was tender and good.

This is a soul food lover’s delight! The menu is full of great main dishes with vegetables to choose from for days. The owners were very happy to share their beautiful stories of how the business opened and their love of the food and the people they serve. It’s all done with love and you can definitely tell it is true.

I can’t wait to make another road trip up this way so I can eat here again. Apparently you need to go before church gets out on Sunday or be prepared to stand in line and wait. Regarding desserts they were already sold out by 3 and from the list of the ones they make -homemade cakes, banana pudding and pound cake, they must be awesome.

We happened upon this gem while traveling through Waycross. So happy we did! The staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful! Then there’s the food! Oh my goodness! It was delicious and plenty of it! I had fried pork chops, cabbage and fried okra! My husband had smothered chicken, greens and green beans and he loved it! The dinners came with a big chunk of cornbread! The owner/cook even came out to check on us and to see if we needed anything! They had picnic tables out front for seating and It’s not a big place but I promise you won’t care once you taste the food!

Run to this place!!! This is hands down the best food of my life!! I haven't had cooking this great since my granny was on this earth. If you want the best soul food ever don't miss your chance to stop here. Not only was the food the best I've ever had, these folks treat you like family. Very welcoming environment, and top notch customs service!

This is probably the best food in Waycross Ga!

My Daughter and I found this place while in Waycross, Ga. And boy I’m so glad we did! We were greeted by the Owners a nice couple who said they were from Florida like myself. The food was fantastic and fresh. We ordered a number of items and it was all delicious, the liver & onions was my favorite but honestly everything tasted like Grandmas house. You should give them a try for some great soul food, you won’t be disappointed, I will definitely go back!????

This is a true family own restaurant. From the time we walked in. We were greeted with a smile. I ordered the oxtail w/white rice, mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was delicious. I also had the Red Velvet cake and it was so moist. It was definitely worth the $$$$ which was cheap. I will be back again, and again????

We had the Oxtail Fried pork chops and fried fish. I have never gone anywhere where every side and everything we tried was amazing. My son has been all over the world and he Saud these were the best oxtail he had. Chops were so tender and juicy can't say enough if your coming through Waycross place to stop!! We even got a hug from one of the little customers what a nice place and good people!
