Best WLM Reviews
For the price of the food, I was expecting more. I thought this was Bobby Flays restaurant but apparently Bobby moved a few years ago and took his recipes with him. The Chilean Sea bass was pretty good. My husband said his steak was decent. For the high prices we were expecting another level.
My wife and I went to B Prime for Thanksgiving
I ordered Prime rib, and she ordered the same
The waiter returned and stated that they were out of Prime rib, but they would upgrade us to two Delmonico steaks. The dinner came with two huge salads and delicious warm rolls and desserts of chocolate cake or cheese cake. The food was very good. Management was excellent along with the servers.
Got the 20 oz bone in NY Strip medium well. Fantastic flavor & texture as always ????????
Sat in the bar area with XL lounge seats. Started the night with shrimp cocktail & a glass of Sauvignon Blanc then progressed to a glass red Napa when the steak was served ????
Everything here from the service to ambiance is impeccable ????????
Thank you B Prime for a wonderful evening once again ????????????????
B-Prime Steakhouse did not live up to the expectations of a premium steakhouse. We went there for my wife’s birthday and noted on the reservation but our waiter did not acknowledge much of it. I order medium rare steaks and it came out overcook in between medium and well done. Steak was dry and did not taste good. Normally I don’t do A1 steak sauce but you need plenty of it for their steaks. Sea bass was actually good! Salad and side dish was decent. Overall better option for steak would be Old Homestead Steak House.
I don't understand the negative reviews. I am confident they are being written by nearby competitors or a disgruntled previous Bobby Flay partner/owner/employee. I'm glad I ignored them. The service is impeccable. All servers were patient and treated you with respect. Our server even suggested we were ordering too much food at one point, which is rarely heard of these days. The truffle mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, crab cakes, and coconut shrimp were amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The kiwi drink was well made. The ambiance felt romantic, yet lively, just like Bobby Flay was. The prices were on par with the rest of the steakhouses. I will definitely be returning and recommending this wonderful establishment to all of my friends and family.
Had an 8:15 PM reservation this Saturday that I booked for my friend’s birthday. Upon walking in we were greeted by very unwelcoming women. They told us we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated so we decided to grab drinks at the bar. We ordered 3 “Beach Don’t Kill My Vibe” and a beer. The drinks were good but after a while we got bored of standing by the bar. I asked about three times when we were going to be seated (by this time it was 8:35PM), with no apology or compensation for anything they told us they had no tables and were waiting for people to get up. I understand things like this happen sometimes but with a “fancy restaurant” like this there should be more organization when booking reservations. Finally around 8:45 PM they told us our table was ready and when we walked over to the table there was no silverware and we were missing a chair.
Our server comes to take our order in a very rushed way. Tells us “he should take our whole order now because he’s very busy and the kitchen is slow”. We ordered another round of drinks which took forever to come out so we didn’t get to drink a lot. We also ordered a couple appetizers; Oysters, Coconut Shrimp, House-Cured Pork Belly, Cacio E Pepe, and Tuna Tartare. Luckily, all of the appetizers (except the coconut shrimp which was very tough, and barely any coconut) were very good. The portions are very small so if you’re with a group you have to order double. Also when the apps came out the guy was staring, waiting for us to make room on the table for him. I felt like one of the servers.
For our main meal we decided to share the Tomahawk Steak (medium), Truffle Mac & Cheese, Cream of Spinach, and Chipotle Corn Brulee. The steak came out 40 minutes after appetizers, and when it got to the table it wasn’t sliced properly. Not only was it not sliced, it was bloody RARE. We had somewhere to be at 10PM, so at that point we couldn’t wait another minute for a new steak to come out. We were already so over it we told them we just wanted the check, we didn’t end up having dinner. We were starving.
The manager came over and was kind enough to apologize and take care of the drinks we ordered. We paid the bill and left. The appetizers were good, the steak probably would have been good too if they put a little more effort. I’m not sure if they are newly opened but the restaurant has some potential. Maybe with some more organization and staff training I would consider giving them another try.
In the previous space occupied by Bobby Flays steakhouse at the Borgata, you'll now find B Prime. This is the second steakhouse in the casino after the Old Homestead. In hindsight, I should have stayed with the known entity of the Old Homestead. Started our dinner with an Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini that were made well. Continued with the Lobster Bisque that was salty, very little lobster, and tasted more like a creamy French onion soup. Main course was the Rib Caps with a side of Brussel sprouts. Steak was prepared perfectly at Medium Rare and though it looked small, it was filling. Unfortunately, I think my next steakhouse experience will be the Old Homestead as B Prime didn't really impress.
Party of 10+ and everything that we ordered taste off. The chicken was under cooked, the steak flavor was off. 4 orders of pork chops and the meat was tufffff. The only good thing was the creamed spinach. We didn't even take our left overs, please take google reviews seriously and run.
