Best WLM Reviews
Great Italian restaurant at the First and Main Shopping Center. Good salads (get the Greek), flavorful chicken Saltimboca, and NY style pizzas. The portions are somewhat large. Recommended.
The Alfredo and the spaghetti were super good!Big portions. Definitely plenty for lunch tomorrow! Had to top it off with a cannoli. Also delicious! Highly recommend.
My family and I went here during graduation week, so it was packed. We got a table outside, there were little gas powered fires and a very nice patio. The manager had great attention to detail, our table was a little damp from just being cleaned and he wiped it off, also the table was a little wobbly so he put something under the leg of the table to fix that, as soon as we sat down. The food was amazing and our waitress was very nice and attentive. Salad was great, portions are pretty large. Very big menu with plenty of great Italian options to choose from.
We happened to be in Blacksburg on parent's weekend. Tried to dine at Avellinos on Saturday but wait was over an hour, returned on Sunday. Ate outside on patio, hint of fall in air, temperature. Service was stellar, absolutely no complaints. Food was good, wish smaller portions for adults were available.
Their minestrone soup included a gluten free option ( no pasta) it was nice to have that option available. It was really good. Then I ordered the salmon salad ???? it didn’t disappoint! It fresh and tasty.
Sophie was our waitress. She is everything you want a good waitress to be. Knowledgeable about the menu. Checked on us frequently. Very personable. She was extremely busy, but never missed a beat. Highly recommend the restaurant, and even more Sophie.
Great food as usual. BUT, I understand being understaffed is stressful, however the stress shouldn't be visited upon your customers. As regular customers, the manager was quite rude, didn't respond to us or even acknowledge us. As a professional, please keep your stress away from your customers and exchange a friendly greeting and smile so we at least feel welcome and not a burden!
This is our "go to" place for dinner when we're in town. We had a party of 7 on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us pretty quickly. The menu is large with everything from appetizers, to sandwiches, to full entrees, and deserts. I had the steak paisano, and it was prepared to a perfect hot pink medium, and topped with a very tasty assortment of onions, mushrooms, blue cheese, and served with pasta and mixed vegetables. Others had the salmon, chicken, and pasta. All meals came out quickly and were hot and full of flavor.
