Heard great reviews so had to try it out. I must of caught them on a bad day because the pizza was absolutely disgusting barley any cheese barely pepperoni wasn’t tasty $25 WASTED NEVER AGAIN!!!
I know everyone’s talking about the wedding soup, and yes, it is delicious, but let’s talk about these FRIED PICKLES!!! This place is awesome, reasonably priced, and great staff. Keep it up!
I enjoyed pizza from Avalon Pizzeria a few weeks ago at a book signing event and decided to order one for dinner tonight. Wow! The 'Pesto Hot Honey' pizza was absolutely delicious. If you live in the downtown Youngstown area, you've got to give these guys a try. Prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for!
Called to pick up a few pizzas. Were ready within half an hour but had to pick them up at the bar. The pizza was just fine, not very good but also not terrible, just basic bar pizza. Wings were crazy good though, ordered them not sauced just plain and they were the best wings I’ve ever had. Pizzas didn’t have that much of the toppings on it and was mostly bread tho.
Avalon Pizzeria is an extremely pleasant surprise we discovered a couple of months ago and we love their food! The pizza is so tasty, the wedding soup is flavorful and the fried cheese perfectly done. The staff is so friendly every time I pick up our order and even though we don't eat in, the restaurant looks clean and inviting.
Conveniently located next to the children's play museum, this is an excellent restaurant for gluten free pizza! Regular pizza looked great, too. Fries were good. $20 for both and a side of dip. Very friendly staff!! Highly recommend!

Ordered two medium pizzas to go…
one with cheese & sauce and one with pepperoni. I also bought two orders of pizzelles for dessert, one vanilla & one anise. I especially enjoyed their pizza sauce, it leans on the sweeter side, but I like it that way! I did enjoy how they put the pepperoni under the cheese. The pizzelles were delicious! Thin & crispy with just the right amount of sweetness
The girl at the front desk took care of me in a professional timely manner. I had one beverage from their bar. The bartender was friendly and fast. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Surprising to me, It was bustling for a Tuesday evening. Overall I was impressed. I look forward to going back and taking my family & friends.

Ordered a quart of hot peppers with 3 pizza's. Received 1/2 of the quart nothing but oil after oil dumped! Not acceptable. Going down hill fast!
