Doug was an Angel sent from heaven above. If you want a genuine, educated, and honest/ straight to the point service this is your spot to go. I was recommended to come here from the Toyota dealership and have zero regrets.
This post is for everyone who lives in, near or is visiting the Ridgeland, Beaufort, Hilton and Sun City area; I am currently visiting Ridgeland SC and on January 16, 2023 at about 1845 that is 6:45 pm, Bambi’s daddy full rack and all; decided to sit on my car hood!
The good news is that I managed to just bump him and he was able to run ????♀️ off in the thickets!
The bad news is that he left my car looking like a beaten down one eye Willy, however I drove away from Aussie Automotive looking like prom Queen Millie!!!!
Here are the pics to prove just that! These guys are worth every penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and Benjamin’s!
My car will be 20 years old this year bought her new in 2003. I love that these guys showed her all the love I have shown her through the years!!!!! You guys are the best!!

I live in Charleston, and when I hit a deer a few weeks ago on my way to work, every shop in town told me they couldn't see me for THREE months which is insane.
I drive for Uber full time hours in addition to my other full time job, and being in the middle of a court battle for my kids, I needed every dollar I could make.
I started calling shops further away from my home, and came across Aussie Auto Body. I explained my situation to Doug, one of the owners, and he explained he couldn't promise how fast he could get my parts, but said if I was willing to drive out there for him to take a quick look at it, that he would drop what he was doing and give me the time to figure out what he could do to help me.
I made the drive out there that morning and as promised, Doug came out, looked at my car, wrote an estimate on the spot, and gave me some alternative options to be able to get back in a car faster.
When those options didn't work out, and I had to get my car fixed, Doug submitted the estimate that same day, and managed to track down every part my car needed within 2 days after that.
I took my car up to him, and he was able to get the work done and have the car returned to me in a DAY AND A HALF. Absolutely crazy.
He kept me updated with pictures. The whole time, made arrangements for me to pick up the car after hours, worked with me at every possible turn to help me out as much as possible and make the transaction smooth.
I went from thinking I was going to lose 3 months of work to only being out of commission for a week. I prayed hard for help, and God sent Doug and his team to me, and I am eternally grateful for them.
I could not recommend this shop or these people any harder than I am right now. If you have the option to give these people your business, please do. You won't regret it.
It's the second time I've used them. I did not have an issue with the previous repair. When you take your car in, their priority is to do the repair as quickly as possible, which is great. However, this time, they got a tarry substance all over the mirrored side of the passenger side rear view mirror and refused to take responsibility, claiming they didn't do it. It wasn't there when I took the car in but was there when I picked it up. I was able to remove it. The repair itself was fine put the tarry substance was not acceptable.
Now, I've received my credit card bill, and they have added an undisclosed surcharge of 3.5%. When I called them, Doug said it was the credit card company, not them. It was them. I could have easily paid cash or given them a check had they at any time told me they were going to tack on a surcharge. The surcharge is illegal as they did not and do not comply with the Federal Laws regarding disclosure of the charge.
Wonderful experience, would absolutely used them again. Even knowing where to look. I was unable to find any flaws in the repair.
Doug was very professional and helped solve my issue quickly. Definitely recommend this auto body shop!
Fantastic work. Great communication with the same person every single time. I poked around the car where the repair was done and found virtually no issues. Two of the smallest specs that are almost not noticeable. All the clips are new and in place with no hack jobs. Will definitely use this shop again. Now if the fine drivers in South Carolina would stay off their phones while driving…
Professional, very knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Doug Wilson handling all insurance paperwork. His inspection was through. I feel I have chosen the auto body shop to complete my work
