This place was highly recommend to me. Manuel took care of my car with an oil change and topped off my fluids. Also put air in my tire, plus also untangled my seat belt with no xtra charge. Great guy. He also told me I didn't need a huge job done which a big chain who has ripped me off for years said I needed. I left 100% satisfied and will happily return when I need future service. Absolutely great service. Fast and very fair. These are good people. They show you everything wrong , what they fix, and why. Price very fair. I was in a very bad situation about to lose my job and they got me back on the road within a day and very fair price. GREAT PLACE LOVE YA MANUEL
I purchased a 1999 Honda accord for my niece from a private seller and didn’t know much about the car. The check engine light came on and he went over all the systems. The seller said that he had change the spark plugs recently, but I had to go on his word, and there was no way I could verify it. Athens auto verify that they have been changed. I’ve been to a lot of auto mechanics that would have suggested a lot of repairs. I explain to him that this is a first car and I wanted to do the least amount of repairs on it as possible. He is super honest, and his prices are fair. He is a true old-school mechanic and I highly recommend him!

Just like a garage from the 60s, you get fast personal attention. Manuel, the owner, takes pride in everything he and his other mechanic do. They are careful not to d ratch or dirty your car/suv and very affordable. The best part is you can trust them not to rip you off!
Athens Auto is great! We’ve been for complex service on our older Lincoln Continental twice now. It is a challenging car to work on under the hood since everything is quite tight. Manny took the car in both times and saved the day! Joe is an amazing mechanic!

I would recommend this shop to anyone reading this review. Honest man, and a great mechanic. A real throwback to the days when mechanics were out to service their customers needs, instead of trying to take advantage of them. Go in, ask for Manny, and you leave with a smile on your face. ????????
Good, honest work, and reasonable rates. Quick too. Came in on an afternoon and had 3 different things fixed here, 2 of which required parts to order, and he had it done in less than 24hrs.
