Exceptionally good time diner. The food is tasty and fresh. The coffee always fresh and hot. All the salads are great as they make the salad dressing on site. So many wonderful choices on the massive menu. The staff are always so helpful with descriptions. Tonight Michelle was over top with service, knowledge, great personality. Be sure to hit the diner when in Milford.
Absolutely wonderful experience for a late night dinner. We enjoyed fish and chips and it was ultra fresh! Fresh hot coffee hit the spot also. The blue cheese dressing was the best. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server Michelle was a true professional and provided outstanding hospitality.
Very cute dinner. Came here on a whim off the highway. The service was pleasant and the food LARGE. Excellent portions and well priced. The pancakes were delicious and the bread fresh, even at 10pm. It was worth the stop.
The Athenian Diner III was a traditional Diner with the old time soda jerk feel, but with a twist. They have an in house bar, offering a variety of mixed drinks. Their extensive menu has plenty of variety, so they offer something for everyone from traditional Greek dishes to American favorites. Breakfast, lunch, dinners, desserts and more. If you are in the area, you can't miss the neon lights.
4.2 out of 5. Great selection and quality. Usual Greek and East coast diner classics. Sadly... still no shredded hashbrowns. Perfect score on the chicken and rice, probably best diner soup I've ever had. Great Monte cristo!
The waitress took a while to take our order. She seemed very preoccupied with her coworkers. We ordered 2 lunch specials, which were good & a good deal. She never came over to check on us until we were almost done eating. Maybe she was having a bad day, so I'm not including her name. We left a tip based on our bill, not the service. We always look forward to our various diner visits along I-95, but may not visit this one again.
The family went to get food after bowling. I had French onion soup which was very good and then ordered an Appetizer trio which was fried mozzarella, zucchini and chicken and was given a side of marinara sauce. I asked for barbecue sauce but even so the chicken tasted very plain as seasoning was missing from it.
Two of my children ordered salads which were quite large and others had a cheeseburger, and wrap sandwiches. I think the salad eaters wanted cake instead so carrot cake and cheesecake were ordered. The only issue is that we felt the cheesecake should have come with a fruit topping at least as it was a bit dry. Overall, we were pleased with the service and meal.
The food was really good and the staff is very friendly, respectful and helpful. The atmosphere is nice but because they want to be able to host as many people as possible, the space seems a bit tight. But all around is a good place.
